About
Tension is a strength-training app built around one simple idea: how you move each rep matters as much as how much you lift. Control your tempo, own the eccentric, and make every set count.
Build your routine on iPhone, then run the whole workout from your Apple Watch — timers, rest countdowns, and rep counting right on your wrist.
TIME UNDER TENSION
Set a concentric and eccentric tempo for each exercise and let Tension pace every rep. It counts your reps out loud so you can keep your eyes off the screen and your focus on the lift — through your watch speaker or Bluetooth headphones.
BUILT FOR APPLE WATCH
Start a workout, work through your sets, log what you completed, and start your rest timer without ever touching your phone. Your watch respects Silent Mode, so counting plays through headphones when you want it and stays quiet when you don't.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Set rep and weight goals, log completed sets, and watch your strength build over time. Completed workouts save to Apple Health automatically.
AUTOMATIC PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD
Give each exercise a rep goal and a weight increment, and Tension handles progression for you. The moment you hit your rep max, it automatically raises your target weight by your chosen increment for the next workout — so you keep getting stronger without doing the math.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Tension has no accounts and no servers. Your workouts live on your device and sync across your iPhone and Apple Watch through your own private iCloud. No analytics, no ads, no tracking — ever.
