Terrible app
The other reviews are several years old. This review is consistent with what other users have complained about. I find it totally unacceptable that in 2026 this app is as terrible as it is. Starting with a QR code on the packaging material that tells you to scan it to download the app, which it did not open the App Store, but instead took me to the company website, then the QR code on the bike frame similarly did not work at all, then trying to register the bike by entering the number manually, none of which worked, this app is completely useless. I only hope the bike turns out to be better than the tech.

Pretty awful but good in parts....
Hard to connect initially but once I got through that pain then I was surprised how much content and useful stuff about the bike, journeys, nav functions etc. the downside is that it rarely works. I've just returned from a 6 mile ride and nothings been tracked. It was (apparently) connected all the time according to the bike display but no riding time recorded. This happens constantly- I've logged tickets and had a few comms but basic play you're just told to connect it and Otto work. It doesn't so the app is pointless apart from allowing you to unlock the bike.

Bluetooth Verbindungsprobleme
Die App ist ansehnlich und übersichtlich gestaltet. Die Funktionen und Übersichten sind auch gut gelungen und geben einen guten Überblick in den Fahrverhalten. Allerdings schaffe ich kaum eine Fahrt (6-10km) wo die Bluetooth Verbindung durchgängig gehalten werden kann, obwohl mein Handy schon direkt am Lenker montiert ist. Besonders nervig wird es dadurch, dass sich das Fahrrad nach Verbindungsabbruch auch ausschaltet und so sowohl Licht als auch Unterstützung plötzlich wegfallen. Das stellt auch ein großes Sicherheitsproblem dar. Sollte dies behoben werden, kann man die App empfehlen - aber auch erst dann.

Geht so
Entsperren geht manchmal. Manchmal muss man aber auch noch einmal eine der beiden Bluetooth Verbindungen neu koppeln. Dann ist man länger mit dem entsperren beschäftigt, als hätte man die Funktion gar nicht aktiv.
Highlight: es kann nur eine Person die App / Verbindung aktiv haben. Das Fahrrad umfänglich zu zweit zu nutzen geht nicht, der jeweils andere wird aus der App geschmissen, wenn sich jemand neu einloggt.

Can’t Register Bike
This is my first day of using the CGO600 Pro, but the app won’t register the bike because apparently the bike ID is mismatching with the chosen model which is the CGO600 Pro. Very odd!
