One of the best games I’ve played
It has a great story, a fun and challenging combat system, and leaves me wanting more.

Really enjoying the classic text RPG mechanics. Though I’m only 30-ish minutes in, the story and writing seem pretty good.
There are some quality of life improvements that could be made though. Here are my suggestions from my early impressions:
1) Searching the area in each node is a little tedious as you have to press once to search, then you see that there’s some gold, but not how much, then you press again to see the amount, then again to return. Why not just have one press to search and add the gold unless there’s some decision to be made?
2) When looking at weapons, armour etc in shops, it’s really quite annoying having to back out of the conversation entirely to remind yourself of your current stats. Please consider adding something to the interface to show the current stats of your equipment. E.g. when looking at weapons, show the difference, or at least the stats of your current weapon.
3) If you’ve already exhausted all conversation paths with a character, it would be good if their portrait was greyed-out so you don’t have to waste time talking to them again to check if there’s anything else to learn.

EPISODE 1 END BOSS
DO NOT ENTER TEMPLE OF AROS! Once you enter you can’t go back and the game doesn’t specifically state that! I skipped one town because there was a strong monster blocking the entrance so I was gonna raid the lower boss levels and then come back with better loot but now I’m stuck inside the temple and can’t beat the boss. The most I’ve been able to do is half his health after 30+ tries with second best armor and end game cards. I’ve bought the best armor but with the way leveling in this game works I can’t equip it. I have 9 might, but it requires 10 ;-;

lovely game
the art is beautiful, the prologue is well written. i’m definitely intrigued to know more, & when i’ve got the money to spare i think i’ll definitely be buying the next chapter!
