Antenna signal finder

This app is as bad as the rca signal finder ! Either one of these didn’t work.
iPhone says http error , android says address not in USA no matter what I put in. Wasted two days on this.

App says error http error and doesn’t do anything

Don't buy for the app....

App crashes on opening. Useless

Continually crashed

The app crashed whenever I put in the address or allowed it to use current location. On both Apple and Android.

Doesn’t work

Crashes every time I load location. Same as its twin app, RCA Signal Finder. Both are from same developer. Phone is an iPhone.

Terrible & Unacceptable

This app is absolutely terrible. It just immediately crashes when you try to enter your address. It should not even be allowed to be published on the app store. What a joke!!

App not working

I downloaded the app. When searching for my location the app closes. I can’t find anything to troubleshoot this.

?

I bought the Terk antenna and downloaded the app. There was also a Terk xtend app I downloaded as well. It appears the three lights on the device are lit and working fine. When I tried to open to scan or update my location both apps close abruptly. I don’t know if I am connected or not however I did get 35 over the air channels. Picture quality appears to be HD.

This app wouldn’t even work.

I downloaded it off the Apple Store to install the HDTV antenna. Followed specific directions and the app itself wouldn’t even work. I would enter my address and it would search and close out. Finally gave up on doing that and just installing. I got 8 channels only. Went to view them and nothing. Did it again same story. I’m taking this back to the store tomorrow spent way too long with zero results. Also the antenna itself is huge! I did not expect it to be this big. I thought I could have it hidden somewhere, no hiding it

Worked well for me in my hilly terrain in the Appalachian foothills around Pittsburgh.

This app and the TERK amplified antenna I used it with took a few tries in different locations in my house to get all of the stations I wanted. It requires some patience but the result was worth it for me. The app pointed me to the stations accurately a turning the antenna mount 90 degrees and moving it in line of sight of a window, even ten feet away from another location, was key. Major networks are clear and in high definition without lag.

The app itself is self explanatory to use and doesn’t have bloat or ads.

Digital broadcast is good for local sports and news if you’re willing to take the time and understand the technology and it’s limitations. It’s not exactly line of sight but it’s finicky and the signal doesn’t pass through several layers of wooden exterior and interior walls which is kind of disappointing. If you don’t want to move the antenna sometimes to get different channels, or fool with the setup, you might get frustrated. I am happy not to be paying $70 a month for streaming package to watch local sports that I can get with an antenna that cost me $60 one time.

Worked well

Only needed once or twice to set the antenna up, app worked for the minute I needed it. Quick and helpful.

Doesn’t work

Thought I would try this as the RCA app crashes. What I didn’t know was this was the same app, just rebranded, and has the same issues. Have to wonder why the company leaves the app up when it doesn’t work.

Great signal no troubles

I was worried about installing my antenna after reading the bad reviews, but my experience was great. Easy instructions and my tv scanned in 25 channels that included ABC CBS NBC and FOX. The channels that transmit in HD look awesome on my Google TV. My experience is truly 5 star on Terk indoor HDTV Antenna. Quick and easy and I’m watching free tv.

Terrible

Doesn’t register me spinning around, it also seemed to forget about the broadcast towers in my State capital. I never had any luck with TERK products.

Garage Antenna-STAY AWAY

Don’t use app or antenna both are completely worthless!!

Not worth the hype

Better reception and channels with antenna that cost me $19.99 this is going back a waste of time, money and frustration!

My brother bought his TERK Flat HDTV Antenna last night and we hooked it up. We got 18 Channels on the first try, only eight would come in, on our second attempt as instructed only 14 channels with only three coming in, then it was 11 channels and only four working ... This Sunday, he tried once more and still only 11 channels with only (3)channels working & the others were showing bad weak signals with pic showing in fragments... This is a bad set up for having to use the phone internet to get a signal setting for a TV Antenna ...

Found loca TV stations

This app worked just fine for me when I used it to look up local TV stations and more or less matched what I was able to ultimately get with my antenna.
