Map on recordings
I am in the US. On the recordings, the map is frequently putting me in India. In fact, it always does. Sometimes it will overlay my real GPS info overtop the India GPS info. No way to fix it. That is rather annoying.

Won’t connect to phone
Bought the TERUNSOUL D016 dash cam about a month ago it working the first week now all of a sudden it won’t let me connect my phone or even click any buttons on the dash cam itself it still looks like it’s recording but it’s just frozen and worse I’m past the return date so I just lost $100

Worst gift EVER.., my son gifted me this dash cam for Christmas., i waited to get my windshield replaced before installing.., Installed recently and it doesn't stay connected while driving.., it's VERY difficult and frustrating to get to the history to see video - they really need to rethink this camera

Actually good
I can’t believe it. A dash cam app that actually is good. It looks fine, doesn’t crash, and if you are familiar with how dash cams work, it does exactly what you expect. Exactly how you expect. I can’t think of any higher praise.

Causes issues with my phone
Ever since downloading this app, my iPhone has issues receiving text messages. I have to restart my phone every time I get in my car and I’m connected to this app, therefore I had to completely stop using the app.
Connection failed every time. No fix yet. Stupid app

Was working perfectly until i suddenly wasn’t able to connect. It’s always say connection failed in the app. If you’re having this problem it may be the SD card. they sent me a new one and everything started working properly.

Update review
Edit: After doing more research, I realized my problem was that my CarPlay needs to be off in order to connect to the app. So far it’s been working fine.

Only thing is you have to be right next to the camera to check videos but is nice with the card to pull out and I like how the system is set up makes it easier to install camera

Won’t Connect With IPhone
I’ve been trying to connect with my iPhone to view the footage multiple times, made sure everything was on like WIFI on the dashcam, it just keeps saying data support and “connection failed” please fix this or I’m gonna have to return it, I like everything else about it like the buttons on the side and how you can do playback right on the screen for you to view the footage which a lot of other dashcams don’t provide but I bought it for the fact it’s advertised to connect to your phone.

Get a dash cam
I hit a deer with almost no way to avoid it and was able to get it clearly on this dashcam. Worth it for sure.
Cloud
I wish you had cloud video so I didn’t have to always get the videos from in the truck
App and apple car play does not work well.
App is trash connecting to WiFi. Keeps dropping signals. Returning the dash cam and getting a Garmin or red tiger. . Don’t have issues with connecting with them. This was a gift.
Round and Round We Go
I can’t get this to work on my iPad or my Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus. Wi-Finis on, everything looks ok, but I get the same “Connection failed as no device found”. Wi-Fi is on and Blue Tooth is on. VPN is off.
