I’m excited about the new update!
While sending the log history, I was surprised to see a new update (5.0.16). I upgraded, curious about what was in the new version.
The stats detailing ROI and leaderboards are very interesting. One challenge emerged though: the player records weren’t syncing up with my logs.
Ron was INCREDIBLY helpful with taking my input and finding the issue. 5.0.17 promises to be an exciting change from last month.
New Update
Edit: I should have given it a chance before writing a review. I was just shocked how different it was. But after using it for our poker tournament, it’s actually really good. I just need to get used it. There are some changes from the old version that I really like too. Like the timer pause after each blind.

I’m sorry. Both of those are fixable. Seating and payouts are separate views rather than fixtures on the countdown: tap the display settings icon (Show…) and choose Current level, and the same menu has Show/hide tables if it’s the small table diagrams you mean. Voice alerts are still there under Alerts, and can be reset to defaults or copied in from another tournament. Alerts you customized in the old app don’t carry across, which may be what happened to yours. Email support@pokerclubhq.com and I’ll help you get your setup back: https://pokerclubhq.github.io/info/
New update is more complicated
Response from developer
Thank you, this is a generous review given how much changed under you. You’re right that there’s a lot in there now, and simplification is the most common theme in the feedback since the rewrite shipped. I’m listening to it. If there are particular screens where the options get in your way, send them to support@pokerclubhq.com and I’ll look at each one. Glad the monthly 24-player game is running well.
Great App

Thank you, and grandfathering the Pro purchases was never really in question. On the text-to-speech box not committing your changes: 5.0.13 went out the day after you wrote this and includes fixes to alert editing. If you’re on it and still seeing the problem, email support@pokerclubhq.com with what you typed and where, and I’ll get it reproduced. The music control idea is noted. Glad the remote is working for you.
