What's New Smoother read-along The purple highlight now follows the narration closely from the first word to the last, without stalling or jumping. It stays on whole words, so nothing gets cut in half — including in Thai, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi and other scripts, and on emoji. Cleaner reading of messy files Documents from PDFs and pasted text used to turn into long bullet lists, and stray symbols were sometimes read aloud. Now only the actual text is read, the way it appears on your screen. Your voice choice sticks The reader you pick is saved with each document. Close the app, come back, and your document opens with the voice you chose — on mobile and on the web. Tap to jump, right away Tap any word and playback starts there, even if that part is still loading. Fixes Several crashes and error screens when opening documents, switching voices, and returning from playback.
