False Information

First off, the set up is extensive. You are given a choice to “Add Insurance”, or “Self Pay”. I was NOT able to “uncheck” self pay box. I added my insurance information but no option to use my insurance. When time to click “visit with provider now” a message came up that my visit would cost $79.00, not $49.00 as posted on app information page.

Why can’t my insurance be used when I am a TGH/USF Health client.

Don’t waste your time. I also believe I was charged to upload this app. Not told there was a charge. The app requested my apple password to charge for app. So one purchases the app, takes the time to set up, and fill out the intake information only to find out that you will be charged $79.00, even though a person has insurance.

Deceptive, and not a good use of time, or helpful. Archaic web site!

Personally, I went to MD Now urgent care and received wonderful care!

I was not willing to spend $79.00 only to be told you need to go to ER because I cannot help you. Risky paying up front before one knows if they can actually get satisfactory care!

Thumbs down for me! 👎🏻

DO NOT USE THUS APP. There are, I’m sure, many other options for telehealth visits when you’re in need that are more affordable and don’t lie about their pricing. They tell you the visit is $79 and then later bill you an additional $195. They really love to take advantage of cash paying patients who don’t have health insurance. And they NEVER clearly communicate the cost and fees for their services up front for said cash patients like they are required too. I’m done with TGH and will never use them again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Staff is horrible - do not recommend

I used this service 9 days ago and had a pleasant experience with Victoria. I used it again, it tried to use again, today and received the worst service from Elizabeth “Liz” Mulvey. Given the nature of the service, I clearly don’t feel well, and she kept asking me the same questions before we could even get started. She laughed said she’s “trying to help” - which was not the case. Horrible bedside manor. I asked if I could use another doctor on site. I received a call back notifying me that Liz refunded my visit but I had to go back through the app to schedule another - why couldn’t Liz have told me this? Then I ask to speak to a supervisor, I was told they didn’t have one. When I pressed for the woman on the phone’s name she refused to give it to me. Finally she told me “Kayla” and when I asked for her last name she pressed asking why. I asked her again and she hung up on me.

I do not recommend this service AT ALL given my back to back horrible service. They made it very difficult especially when I’m sick.

Never got an appointment

I waited for 2 hours with the app on showing the “ Waiting for first available provider” screen.

Never got an appointment.

Huge technical failure

I have been trying to get this app to work for weeks. I try to link to MyChart - that doesn’t work. I try to create a new account - that doesn’t work because my email is already registered. I try to reset my password or use the forgot username option - that doesn’t work either, it says multiple people are using my email address. I called the virtual health IT line, they told me to call the MyChart IT line, who told me to call the regular TGH IT line, who told me to call MyChart IT…. And so on in a circle over and over!!!! As a TGH employee I am beyond dissatisfied that this app is absolutely useless!! I’ve tried the webpage as well, that routes me right back to the app. FIX THIS BROKEN APP PLEASE!
