This family has changed media for my household. They are entertaining, educational, honest, and realistic. While encouraging a normal childhood of playing, exploring, and learning, they are also teaching social and emotional life lessons, as well as life skills. Unlike most shows these days which leave my kiddo whiney, selfish, and cranky, my child walks away from these shows eager to get outside and equipped with excitement and ideas. I can’t honestly say enough how thankful I am for this family and their loving hearts, showing children in a modern world, that there is more to life than technology, material items, and social/emotional isolation.

Absolute Gold
This is the absolute best “children’s” programming available! Period! We limit screen time to a couple hours on the weekend and our children still choose to watch this. We can binge watch too on sick days!
I love the bush crafting, gardening, outside play, gentle parenting, in touch with nature, foraging… 100% here for it!
I whole heartily support their views on vaccines. It’s a freedom we have to choose what is best for our family and it’s simply ridiculous that people are giving their programming 1 star based on their choice of medicine.

A reply to a one star regarding vaccines.
The CDC updated their guidance and now nobody cares about who got the vaccine and who didn’t. To give this app a one star because the family doesn’t share your views to get vaccinated is not completely fair. I am a full time single father to a young boy and I look into everything I put in front of my son. Nobody is perfect, but in my personal world filled with trauma - Patrick, Sara, and the gang taught me what unconditional love looks like. I’ve had my son full time for 2 years now and have leaned on this family .. not only for screen time , but for parenting techniques and how to raise critical thinkers. My son and I attended one of their scavenger hunt as well. These people are genuine. Thank you for what you do!! Keep it coming. Life is an Adventure, Love is the key!!

The parents are anti vaxx conspiracy peddlers and liken mandates to slavery, retweet proven misinformation, and call people who support vaccines Nazis. You can refer to Patrick South’s Twitter page for evidence. Please don’t give these people your money. There’s other wholesome family friendly content out there that also supports positivity and critical thinking.
These people live in a large rural property, work from the safety and comfort of their own home, and don’t have to send their children to public school- of course they don’t believe that covid is a real threat. If only we could all exploit our children for financial gain, then we too could insulate ourselves from the world’s troubles, shouting down at the sheep from our ivory towers.

My son loves Axel and his family. So glad they made their own app because I agree YouTube is not for kids. This is a safe watching experience and I’m so glad it’s an option.

Love this app and love this family!
The positive influence these shows have on my kids is almost indescribable, but I’ll try. My oldest quotes Patrick every day. After watching, my kids are more imaginative, happier to just play with each other, and they don’t ask for more screen time because they have ideas to go make their own adventures. We look forward to the new videos so much! Our whole family enjoys watching. But our kids are also learning that there is more to life than screens, and part of that is due to the south family making life such a fun adventure for all!

I’m so glad we found this family. All of the content they put out is kid friendly, interesting and something my husband and I even watch with our 4 year old. Well worth skipping the 1 or 2 coffees out for a month of videos I know and trust!
