Downloaded onto yip am, but doesn’t open.
Crappy App
APP is trash. App is not standalone, directs you to the .org page which is garbage. Who uses .org anymore? I know the AMERICAN Legion has a lot of old veterans but, can’t they get some younger veterans to work on modernizing things? Specifically the App amongst one of the many things that need updating ?
The fact you can not view your membership online or even in the APP is ridiculous. The VFW app needs to be mirrored. I have my membership installed on my Apple Wallet making things to much easier. Looks like this APP will never get updated because 95% of the members are from WW2 and the Korean War. They don’t seem to use smart phones.

As bad as the website
Downloaded this app in hopes that it would be an alternative to printing my membership card since I’m having trouble doing that from the website but no dice.
App is useless
The Legion needs to get with the times. The app only points to web browser sites and there is no option for a digital card for my Apple wallet. But what should I expect from an organization that won’t even give me a plastic card instead of a paper card that wears out in a physical wallet.
Not very useful
I was hoping for an app that might have helpful information for members like meeting guides or color guard skills. I’d have been happy if I could have pulled up the most recent Memorial Day speech.

No membership card option
Disappointed that there is no option to add / display a membership card. The website allows it and the App should too - it’s 2022 :)
Outdated
The app hasn’t been updated in over a year. The tiles blend in with the background and I haven’t been about to update anything.
Can’t use it as it is
The welcome screen won’t allow users to close it by tapping the “x”. Can’t progress beyond the welcome screen making the app unusable.
Can’t even access
Initial splash screen cannot be dismissed, making entire application useless. Have tried clicking on X in upper right corner, but it cannot be selected/clicked.
Can’t get into the app
I’m currently stationed in Japan and can’t get into the app. I’m not sure why but a lot of apps can’t be used overseas. Please let me know if there’s a way to fix this issue thank you.

App needs an overhaul. Membership card for Apple wallet is a start.
Could be so much better
As many have said, adding the Membership card to Apple Wallet is an overdue upgrade.
Outdated
Removed this app from my phone when I realized that it didn’t offer a reason to keep it. Maybe add the feature that would allow the user to have an electronic version of their membership card?
Outdated app
Decent app but the design is outdated. Discount section is not easy to use. Don’t you think it’s about time you include an option to add the American Legion Card to the Apple wallet?
Pass book card and paying dues on app
It would be awesome if I didn’t have to carry a paper card and could pay my dues on the app.
Passbook Card
Please make a passbook enabled membership card (like the VFW) so I don’t have to carry around my paper card. Also allow members to pay their dues on the app.
Great app for interfacing with Legion functions
This app is very valuable app if you are a member of the American Legion, or are interested in the American Legion. If you are an officer in the Legion, it offers great tools to help you with membership and other vital endeavors.
Less than useless
The only thing I can do with this app is give them money either by joining, renewing, or donating. I am removing this app as it just takes up space.

I'm rating this app 5 stars not because it is the best app and certainly not for the functions that you are capable of performing while on the app. I'm giving it five stars because it represents a very worthy cause and it is an establishment that has and forever will honor veterans those of us who have sacrificed time away from home to fight an enemy that tries to take away our freedoms as citizens of the United States and also those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and will unfortunately never be able to hang out at an American legion post.
