Wouldn’t connect account to podcasts

I paid to upgrade and it won’t connect the app to my Apple Podcasts! Very annoying as using The Australian app itself to listen to podcasts isn’t laid out as well

I used to enjoy reading the Australian but it slowly morphed into an expensive version of the Daily Mail so I cancelled my subscription.
