Hi StellaLynnTX, thank you so much for your review! What you named, that The Beans doesn't cause you anxiety when you open it, is the first design principle at the company. This comes from my own experience of being stressed about money only to open my app and get a scary message, or to get a text that tells me I overspent ⚠️ I learned in graduate school that these negative messages actually make us more likely to spend our money 😬 so we work really hard to remove stressful things from the app and from our messaging.
