The commentary is so helpful and this app helps to make the bible easier to read and understand. Although I do still have so many questions and wish I had Nicky and Pippa on hand to ask questions of.

Nicky and Pippa join up the dots and relate each reading (Psalms, Proverbs New and Old Testament) to everyday life in a world thousands of years on from the time the books were written. The advice given is down to earth and relatable and relevant. Thank you so much. Will recommend to others. A*

Good, with flaws
Overall, I am so grateful for this. It is the first time I have been able to stick at reading through the Bible (I have ADHD) and I am now 62 years old! I have reached Day 34 without a break. Nicky’s teaching is really helpful and upbeat, and it makes the listening so much easier to digest and explained with useful insight, although his voice can be a little over-expressive at times and perhaps with too much repetition of the preceding passage. Unfortunately, the voice for the Old Testament passages is depressingly doleful and melancholy, making them very hard to endure at times. (Please edit with a different voice.) ‘Pippa Adds’ hasn’t really added anything for me, but some may get something from these additions. It is certainly nice to have a woman’s input.

A Blessing Every Day
The Bible with Nicky and Pippa (FKA The Bible In One Year) is the best part of my day. I love both the format and the content. The 3 short readings a day - Psalms/Prov, NT and OT - keep it moving along, but what makes this exceptional is Nicky’s teaching. He doesn’t just help me understand what God is saying - he brings God’s love and joy into my life every morning. It’s like spending time with your favorite friend that puts a smile on your face. And I love the audio. The Bible narrator is fantastic and Nicky’s humor, joy and lovely British accent make it a joy to listen to. Reading and listening to The Bible with Nicky has become an indispensable part of each day.

It’s helped me with my faith
It’s really good I listen to it everyday I fell sad when I haven’t read it I feel closer to god every day because of it this app has really helped me in my faith (I am only 11)

A great resource for going through the Bible
I find this is a helpful way to be led through the Scriptures each day.
Unfortunately it won’t let me reset the app or start from a different day. Resetting doesn’t accomplish this - on logging back in I resume from the day I was on from a previous year.
It would be nice to just be able to set this without resetting the app.

I love the way the sequence is laid out, it is easier for me than the way it is on the You Version Bible app, where I’m following this plan with a group. Things that would improve this app are ability to make print bigger and the ability to stop and start the read aloud function on a highlighted word. Overall, I like this app a lot and use it in conjunction with the book and You Version Bible App.

Switching from old to New Testament and including psalms with an excellent explanation by Nicky with help from Pippa make this a must read for all

This app had helped me stay on track with my reading. I have tried several times to read the bible in a year but stopped because it didn’t make sense or I didn’t understand. Nicky and Pipa have helped to explain each of the readings and because of this I am 67 days into the bible.

This App the THE BEST. Even though I was a practising Christian, listening to the Word of God together with Nicki and Pipa’s reflections, had opened my heart to the real presence of God. Thank you!
Great job with this app
They did a tremendous amount of work putting this together. I am currently on day 177. I love Nicky’s comments and explanations. I like how you are able to read along or just listen. Just like Alpha another great job at spreading the Word.
I do wish there was a way to reference a Bible book to a day for example search for Luke 3 and have it tell you to go to Day 79. I was thinking of going through and making a spreadsheet. That would be very useful in using this app for Bible studies.
