If you complete the third puzzle, nothing happens: the app freezes and no controls work. Only option is to force quit. Reopening just re-opens a frozen app with no controls

Great crossword app with some real head-scratching variety of clues!

Had a blast going through these crosswords. Just finished the third puzzle, but upon filling in the final clue the app crashed and I didn’t get a win screen. Every time I go back onto that puzzle it seems to fall over. Would be great to see this fixed in an update - it was nice to receive an emailed certificate when I finished the first one!

Legitimate interest cookies?
I used to love this app but, following a recent update, I now have to go through a vast array of cookies to decline them all as there is no button to automatically block everything. Why does this app request consent to store cookies on my device? It is not a website and none of the other apps from this developer have asked me to confirm cookie consent before.
In my humble opinion there is no such thing as a ‘legitimate interest’ as tracking by vendors I don’t know is not acceptable.

TOO MANY ADDS
There are way to many adds hard to get on a roll and enjoy playing when after every 2nd or 3rd clue there’s an add😡😡😡
I love this developer’s apps!
In an ever increasing world where companies are confining customers to subscription services (sometimes as well as adverts every time you push a button!), it is so refreshing to see a developer working differently!
I find Teazel’s crossword apps so accessible for this reason - yes they carry adverts in order to maintain themselves as a business which I totally understand, but what I like is that for a couple of quid, you can remove the adverts and contribute directly towards the developer’s games!
For just a one-time £3 purchase, all levels of hints are accessible as well as the removal of ads!
Hints include First & Last Letters of any puzzle, limit letters to only those for a particular answer, or reveal an entire word!
All puzzles are of a casual level.
The app can easily be accessed offline, which really works for me when I am on the move and need brain stimulation on trains or in airport queues etc.
I am currently also using ‘Crossword’ and ‘Spiral Crossword’ from Teazel that have similar pricing models to the above, which really works for me and the flexibility it provides!

Brilliant crossword
Just completed puzzle 1 today - it only took over 9 hours to complete !!! There were adverts, but they weren’t too often or annoying like other apps that I use.
Really enjoyed solving it, some clues are easy, others are really hard (as they should be). I’ve already started on puzzle 2.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes crossword puzzles. Brilliant - worth the 5 stars.

Best crossword
This crossword is brilliant- it has a great mix of topics, including cryptic and normal clues. I had to get help with some clues like music, tv and movies. It can be shared with others while playing by adding a backup, then share those details with friends

one of the best crossword apps I’ve ever downloaded even the ads are only five seconds long and I’ve even downloaded a couple of games from them, completed both so more please
Hours of fun
I liked the variety of clues and categories, and that the answers to the cryptic clues were explained. It was a great bonding activity to do with my mum 🙂

LOVE this game omg. I play it everyday as soon as I wake up before getting ready for work and every night to fall asleep. I purchased the no ads and it was extremely cheap. I don’t understand how more people don’t know about this game. I am a crossword lover and this game definitely helps keep my peace. They also just added a second big crossword to the app. It does have cryptic clues, but the more I play the game the more I understand them. PLEASE NEVER GET RID OF THIS GAME!!!

Best crossword
I love the challenge of this crossword, but I wish I could have it on landscape as well as portrait!

Nice big crossword. However, it seems to be made in the UK, so some of the spellings and clues will be geared towards that.
If you like crosswords this will test your endurance.
I have just completed the second release of ‘The Big’ crossword, having completed the first release last year. It took just over 6 hours spaced over several days to complete the 1300+ clues, was a lot of fun and a good test of most of the skills required to complete more normal-sized crosswords, including anagrams, (not too) cryptic clues, and knowledge of a varying range of subjects.

Loved it!
Great fun, love the fact it’s such a large puzzle so you can go in and out as needed. Was so useful during long and boring hospital wait, highly recommend, wish there were more puzzles to solve!
Great value entertainment
This app is great ‘bang for the buck’ but also ‘bang for the byte’ at under 13MB for many hours of puzzling. The addition of a second puzzle just makes it even more worthwhile. I think the cryptic clues are harder in the second one, which has as great a variety of clue categories as the first. Well worth having on your phone or iPad, and entertaining enough that I have replayed the first puzzle a couple of times, and expect to do the same with the second — once I can sort out those few remaining cryptic clues!

With a world full of generic crosswords it’s refreshing to see a outstanding game once in a while
Would totally love a sequel if it’s even possible
