I like all the features, especially the ability to enlarge articles. Very easy to navigate all sections of the paper.
Farmed out service
App is easy to use. Especially enjoy being able to access older editions.
Balanced, timely reporting on the Central Oregon scene. We are lucky to have a reliable print news source. It is critical to support local media!
Thanks for providing the E Edition, keeps us informed without the hard copy.
No problems, always works, print is clear and easy to read.
Great
Outstanding local news that we can depend on
Great
Works fairly well
This version of The Bulletin is easy to navigate and clear.
Very easy to toggle between page view and individual articles on my iPhone. Easier than paper copy.
No problems, always works, print is clear and easy to read.
To preserve our democracy it is imperative that we support our local newspaper. And fact based information must be documented by our newspapers.
As of 5/2021, the updates they’ve made to their site have made it harder to use the app. I pay each month to access the Bulletin on-line, and am getting ready to cancel my subscription altogether, just because of their recent updates. Can no longer use “markup” with my Apple Pencil to fill out the daily crossword (so have to waste paper daily), whereas before the updates it was such a nice thing to be able to do. It randomly asks us to sign back in, and no matter how many times you enter the info correctly, it rejects your login. Just bad coding, sloppy programming and little testing. Seriously?

Recent “updates” have made this app much worse on my iPad mini. It makes me log out and back in daily because I’ve read all my free stories for the month. I’m a subscriber! It still acts like I’m logged in, yet gives me this message and hides content. Today, the “pages” function in the eEdition won’t display. It randomly refreshes the eEdition and shrinks what I was reading. Swiping pages is harder than on the old app. When I click to open a story, graphics may block part of the article. I must close the app daily or it freezes (maybe the last update fixed this, but now I’m trained to close it). It sometimes won’t open a story from eEdition by tapping it.

With a digital edition I never have to search for a wet newspaper, never wait for delivery in bad weather, never have to wait for others to finish reading a section, never have to put on hold for traveling because I can read just about anywhere. Probably never go back to getting a print paper!
So disappointed. Can’t print the puzzles on the new version. They come out too blurry to read.
What happened to “index” feature allowing to highlight and read the article? Now I have to resize the page, move around to read, total pain.
I enjoy The Bulletin every day and depend on it to keep up with what’s happening in Bend and Oregon
