I love The Bulwark been listening since 2019
Level-Headed, Fact Based
20 years ago I would have been considered far left, perhaps even socialist. The Bulwark is a family of sorts for me: right/left, young/old, military/socially liberally active, respectful. The common thread of the folks at The BW is a drive to save our liberal democracy. My grandfather used to say "I'd be a Democrat if it wasn't for abortion." If he was alive today, he'd identify as a Democrat and he would listen to/watch The Bulwark.

Keeping Me Sane
Dear Bulwark, keep calling out the madness. It’s keeping me sane.
Varied content, solid hosts and guests
Only complaints are lack of time to listen to more than 6-8 shows a week, and audio engineering is funky on volume, with variation between voices, and Tim Miller often Kristoling (tossing off 3-5 extra dependent clauses, sotto voce, as a digression or qualification, before inhaling to begin the next sentence).

Content great. Just gets better
I try to watch on bulwark app but it goes into a picture wiyhin a picture but the big. Screen has that circle of death goin and the small screen you can watch but if you try to enlarge it the screen will go black
The Bulwark stands alone
I’m so glad The Bulwark exists to help me navigate this insane timeline we’re living through. I enjoy getting their content here without the clutter of YouTube ads and other creators voices interrupting. I only gave 4 stars bc being able to save is great, but I’d also like to have the option to throw a like on an article or video, and to be able to track those. Sometimes I’m confused about how this app is intertwined with Substack, too. I’m so grateful for all of the intelligent Bulwark conversation and perspective.

Comments are too small
I like the app, but i am unable to read comments anymore on phone or ipad bec print is too small and can’t be expanded as before. Can you fix this?.
Frustrated
I bought a subscription two months ago. No matter what I do, your system continues to show me as a free rather than paid subscriber.

Love the content-hate the playback
Love listening to the podcast. However, if I get a call while I’m listening to a podcast with my earbuds, it cuts me off from the podcast completely and I can’t get back to the spot where it left off. Other than that it’s a great app.
Why independent media is essential
I am super liberal, always have been but this fight is bigger than policy differences. I might not always agree with the takes but I love the honesty, the fight and the necessary cautionary notes doled out on the daily by one JVL. I enjoy the range of talent at the Bulwark, the rapid responses by The Fingering Trio (I hope I have that right), and others to events as they happen. In sum I’m a fan and deeply grateful for your shows and newsletters.

A Long Time for a Good Thing
I’ve been waiting for an app so I didn’t have to long into substack every time I wanted to read an article. Thanks, Bulwark! This app is intuitive and easy on the eyes.

Love bulwark but please fix video
Love The Bulwark, love the takes, love the articles. What I would love even more is if I close the app and then come back to it and can play the video I was on at the timestamp where it stopped.

Love The Bulwark, app needs a little love
Overall, I love the Bulwark app—much better than Substack. One glitch: The feed for the Bukwark+ Takes podcast is almost always way out of date. Today, May 4, for example, the most recent episode it shows is April 6.
