What's New in The Food Flow
1.3
August 6, 2026
• Your usual foods and meals now appear the moment you open Log Food, ranked by how often you eat them. No need to save anything in advance. • Re-log a previous meal in one tap, or copy a whole day onto another day. • Star a food or meal to keep it at the top. • Fixed: adding a meal while looking at an earlier day now saves it to that day instead of today. • Fixed: meals you type by hand now reach Apple Health, like meals logged through Coach always did. • Edit a logged meal — change portions, foods, the meal type or the time — instead of deleting and starting over. • Log a food in slices, packages, cups or grams, and switch between them without doing the arithmetic yourself. • New home-screen widget shows what is left of today's energy and macros, with one tap to log. • Ask Siri to log your usual breakfast, lunch or dinner, or to log a glass of water. • Optional meal reminders you can turn on per meal and set to your own times. • Water logging with a daily target based on your body weight. • New trend charts for energy and macros over the last week, month or quarter. • Saturated fat and sodium are now tracked where the data exists. • Apple Health workout sync: your workouts, active calories, and exercise minutes now appear on the dashboard. • Your daily calorie target adapts to training. A harder-than-usual session raises it, and a normal day leaves it alone. • Personalised calorie and protein targets replace the old fixed 2000 kcal goal. • Meal suggestions and coaching now account for how much you moved, favouring carbohydrate and protein after a hard session. • New Activity & Workouts card shows each workout with duration, distance, and calories burned. • Coach now shows which of your details it is using as chips above the message box. Tap one to remove it, tap again to add it back. • Coach follow-ups are more reliable: it keeps track of the meal you are discussing and no longer misreads a new food as a change to the previous one. • Confirm what will be logged before a suggested meal is saved, or switch to exact manual entry at any point.
