Very useful

I use it every day

My favorite

Heart rate reading from the AirPods Pro 3 would be the icing on the cake. Sleek, functional, straightforward design. 10/10.

Love the app

Love it but right now I can’t contact you (support email function just shows a message- no email). Wanted to ask if you can add a widget for month/year calendar view of workout history. Filterable would be great too.

FAQ

What does the Zones for Training app do?

Zones for Training helps you maximize your workouts by monitoring your exercise intensity in real-time using your heart rate. It visualizes this intensity across four distinct heart rate zones, allowing you to train smarter for specific goals like performance improvement, cardio endurance, or fat burn.

What are the key features of this app?

Key features include real-time heart rate and exercise intensity monitoring on your Apple Watch, displaying time spent in each of the four heart rate zones, and integrating with Apple Health to serve as a comprehensive workout dashboard. It also offers recovery heart rate measurement and detailed workout analytics.

How does the app use heart rate zones for training?

The app categorizes your heart rate into four zones: PEAK (performance/speed), CARDIO (endurance), FAT BURN (longer exercise, fat as energy), and WARM UP (preparation/recovery). By showing you which zone you are in during exercise, it simplifies heart rate training without needing to memorize target heart rates.

Can I use this app without my iPhone during workouts?

Yes, the measurement functions are available on the Apple Watch, allowing you to leave your iPhone at home during training sessions. You can still monitor your heart rate and exercise intensity in real-time on your watch.

Is this app compatible with all Apple Watch models?

The description specifies that measurement functions are only available on the Apple Watch. While it supports over 70 workout types and integrates with Apple Health, specific compatibility details for all Apple Watch models are not provided, but it is designed to leverage Apple Watch capabilities.
