What's New in Polar Beat

3.5.12

September 12, 2025

This update fixes an incorrect description in the Data Notice shown during sign-in without prior verification. The revised wording now clearly explains the requirement to read and verify the notice before using the app, in line with the EU Data Act.

Download nightmare

If you record to the HR sensor, it is almost impossible to get it off. The app keeps crashing over and over and won’t do it. It’s a real pain.

No Indoor non-GPS walking

As someone who does a lot of walking during my recovery from heart surgery, I was saddened to see that indoor walking or treadmill walking, was not an available exercise on the polar bear app. I know there are other options to use but when you have a plethora of options including the entire Les mills product catalogued the least you can do is have the basics for people to tap into. Happy I don’t pay for the app!!

Sync

Can’t get the app to sync with Apple Health, I does it once when you reset the app then the day after there’s no data is showing,

Rubbish

I’ve used a lot of deferent types of fitness watches over the years. This has been a terrible experience. The tech is absolute rubbish. I don’t think any efforts was put into the UX.

No clip?

Polar flow allows trimming of sessions for some strange reason this is still not a function in beat. More work on this app would help it go further.
