Okay if you only use the watch function
As much as I love my actual Polar watch, the app leaves a lot to be desired. After 2 years, I still don’t use it for anything other than syncing my watch periodically. The user interface is mediocre and I could get used to that, but the level of customization available is so sparse compared to Garmin and Fitbit, it makes the data collected pretty useless. Support is only as helpful as their minimum requirements dictate. I’d absolutely recommend the polar watch, it has held up phenomenally well and that screen does have a lot of aesthetic customization that I like, but don’t get your hopes up about the app

buyer’s remorse
I’ve only used the Loop and app for a few days but I am incredibly disappointed in the functionality. The app needs to be modernized. It feels clunky and clumsy compared to my Oura Ring app. And the Loop or the app exaggerate the calories burned and steps per day by a loooong shot. I know these devices and apps can skew over or under these numbers are 50-75% higher than they should be. Makes me wonder what else is over or under calculated. I think buying a Polar product was the worst purchase I’ve made in years. The app and/Loop need improvements. i should have bought an apple watch instead.

Good product
Just like polar…
Needs a refresh-update
I like polar because it’s not American. It would be nice if they could update the software and user interface though.
One step forward, two steps back
I’m a big fan of polar but this is useless. Everytime I think it’s ok things stop working - most recently one day HR graphs stopped showing, and won’t show live HR but it still tracks it. Infuriating.
