Broader integration required

This is my preferred training App today but it would be so much better if it could pull in data from devices other than just Polar. While I use my Polar watch for some sports, I use other devices and sources for other sports. This means I need multiple Apps and don’t have a single integrated view of my training unless I resort to things like Strava - which I really do not like. I’d also like to see more direct data and analytics around training and recovery. The high level workout level categories are sort of cute, but real numbers are easier to use for serious training.

Awesome

Still loving and even better with Polar Grit 2

Force you to give up privacy

I paid for the sensor. The app is “free” except that the only way it works is if you agree to let Polar collect, sell and do whatever they want with your data. This should be criminal. I returned the H10 and bought a Garmin because of this.

Not overly joyed

It’s quite cheaply made and won’t automatically link to Strava. The screen isn’t very sensitive so trying to swipe isn’t reactive enough.
Stopping the watch after an activity and having to hold for the counter to tick down isn’t great either.
Although the watch is pretty and looks great.
It is accurate in distance tracking and GPS.

Great app with some fundamental cross platform limitations

Really like the device and the app and the working. Good job.

My issue really is its ability to sync full data with Apple health. For example it only shows the sleep length, not the different stage (light, REM etc). Unfortunately it falls at the last hurdle.

Great app

Lovely functionality between watch and app

It used to seem better

Will miss data that I used to get from laptop downloads and It shouldn’t comment on today’s status until all the day’s hours have been accounted for. Disappointing.

Set up is unsatisfactory

Software for set up is very clunky, difficult to set up with phone.

Step counter is off

I love the look of it - it’s sleek . One con is the step count seems to be way off. I wish I could also get a graph of my progress where I can include several months, not just weekly .

Update

Very frequently I have to reset the watch and as a consequence lose all the history
Very disappointing

Glitches and doesn’t record sleep & exercise

I’m running into a lot of problems with it

They keep it working.

I love the watch. The app is the cool side kick. Polar keeps the app updated. The watch is still working after 2 years. 1000 miles a year have been logged. The battery is still strong. The band needed replacing after a year and a half of heavy use. Keep running!

Chastising comments on fitness levels

In the same day I was told to rest because I slept poorly and if I didn’t keep training harder that I would lose some of my fitness. I am about to break from years as a loyal Polar user because as someone in an active eating disorder who trains anywhere from 2-5 hours almost every day, it messes with your head to see the app telling me I’m not doing enough. Dangerous messaging for people and encouraging them to over train.

Glitches

This app always just randomly stops finding my polar sensor. It does this every month or so. I kept thinking it was the device until I replaced the device and same thing happens. Then I used the polar beat app and it works perfectly fine. This app sucks.

Great app to track your training

I’ve been using the app for over 5 years tracking my activity and sleep. It gives in depth information on heart rate, sleep and fitness level. I track my exercise routines including running, biking, rowing and strength training.

Biometrics help measure trauma symptoms

I am grateful for the daily metrics that help me to manage my activities, so I can avoid crashes.

Fantastic Watch

Very user friendly great features!

I want to continue using the app

But the button does nothing

Excellent produit
