What's New in Wahoo

6.89.0

July 28, 2026

Train with ventilation zones (Tymewear). Pair your Tymewear sensor and your ELEMNT can now guide your training by breathing rate, a direct measure of effort that responds faster than heart rate. Set your personal ventilation thresholds so your zones match your physiology, watch your current zone as a data field mid-ride, and see time-in-zone afterward on your ELEMNT. Ventilation data is now also written to your FIT file, so you can access it post ride. Easier membership management. You can now change or upgrade your plan in your Wahoo account portal, with clear pricing shown before you commit. More accurate GPS tracks (iOS) We've improved our GPS algorithm, so your recorded tracks should hug the road more closely, with fewer dropped points and fewer data spikes. Bug fixes - Live Track toggle now stays where you set it. - Fixed sync errors that could prevent routes from reaching your ELEMNT. - History screen is more stable and easier on your battery. - Fixed KICKR BRIDGE failing to connect to KICKR BIKE PRO.

Customer Service is terrible

They make a great product but wow their customer service is awful. It’s fine as long as you don’t have a problem.

Won’t sync with Google health

I’ve been using Wahoo for years. I love the app. I love the products. It’s only a three star for now because it does not sync with my main health tracker, which is Google Health a.k.a. Fitbit. It still seems like it’s trying to work with the old Fitbit system, but since Fitbit became Google Health, the Wahoo trading app doesn’t want to sync my data after workouts on the treadmill or indoor bike. This needs to be addressed immediately and once is fixed, I will update my review to five stars.

It’s ok

The paise alerts and auto-pause workouts options don’t work, and sometimes my garmin devices won’t connect. It’s an ok app, but not good enough to recommend

App

For so many times already I’ve had the heart rate monitor on perfectly working, but he never lets me start the actual workout and record process so annoying

Where did the Cadence metric go?

After 2 or 3 years of using this app for road cycling, Cadence is no longer a metric that displays. My Wahoo Cadence Meter is connected. How do I get it to display again? I see the average cadence in my final results.
