What's New in Athlytic

26.5.0

July 14, 2026

BIG UPDATE! New: Workout Suggestion Customization You can now fine-tune the Workout Suggestions on the Exertion screen to fit how you want to train today! Tap Customize on any suggestion to adjust the intensity, duration, or workout type, and watch the projected Exertion update live so you can land squarely in your Target range. Plan up to 3 workouts for the day...projected Exertion stacks across all of them, so split sessions or pairing strength with cardio are easy to plan ahead. Planned and completed workouts will now be referenced on the home screen as well. New Weekly Energy widget for iPhone See your last 7 days of calories burned and consumed side by side on your Home Screen. Daily bars highlight deficits and surpluses at a glance, with a clear weekly net total at the top. Available in medium and large widget sizes. New daily Steps chart The Steps screen now opens with a daily chart that breaks your steps down hour by hour, so you can see exactly when you were active throughout the day. It also compares your progress against your usual pace for this day of the week, showing whether you're on pace, ahead, or behind by this point in the day. It's a quick way to know if you're on track to hit your goal, or if you should squeeze in a walk before the day's done. Improvements: Refreshed overall design! Ask Athlytic using Apple Intelligence has been MUCH improved. The other Apple Intelligence features such as Journal and Workout Insights should be improved as well. New watch setting to turn off the haptic when you complete a mile or km during runs and walks. I also spent a lot of time this update making sure that the design refreshes also support the highest accessibility dynamic text sizes. Please let me know if there are any screens that still may not be rendering well for you. Added Hume as a sleep tracker. Heart Rate Recovery now excludes both manual and auto workout pauses. Bug Fixes: Improved the accuracy of weekly Zone 2 and Zone 4+ minutes in Athlytic Age. (also removed the Beta tag). Fixed an issue where Stress Notifications could fire right after a workout has ended but before it's saved in Apple Health. Fixed an issue on Workout Comparison on the Progress Tab not respecting kj preference. Attempted to fix a crash for users who tap on the Info Cards and their iPhone are set to a language other than English. Please let us know if you are still having this issue after updating! And finally...I don't know if it was just me, but when tapping on a workout and waiting for the data to load, the heart rate card was always shrunken for a split second. Well this nightmare is finally over! =) A few other minor fixes and optimizations. Follow Us IG: @athlytic_app Reddit: r/AthlyticAppOfficial X: @athlytic_app Thanks! Gary

Superb app

Good app helps with daily training.

Injury-Free Sustainable Fitness

I’ve been a paid user for over a year, and Athlytic is the first app I check every morning and again after every workout. Whether I’m stretching, taking a recovery walk, lifting weights, running long distances, or doing speed work, it’s become an essential part of my training.

What I love most is that it’s built around HRV and recovery rather than just encouraging you to do more. It’s helped me avoid the trap of overtraining by giving me confidence to say, “Today should be an easy day,” or “You’re ready to push.”

For me, consistency matters more than intensity. I need to do something every day or it’s easy for one missed workout to become two, then three, and before I know it, my routine has disappeared.

Injuries are an even bigger setback. An Achilles issue sidelined me for weeks, and getting back into a rhythm was far harder than maintaining one in the first place. Athlytic helps me train in a way that’s sustainable, reducing the chances of pushing too hard on the wrong day.

If you have an Apple Watch and care about long-term fitness instead of simply chasing bigger workout numbers, I highly recommend giving Athlytic a try. It’s one of the few fitness apps that has genuinely changed how I train.

It’s not a replacement for listening to your body or getting medical advice, but it’s an incredibly useful decision-making tool.

It works!

I have used Athlytic with my Apple Watch & Apple Health and MyFitnessPal to lose 70+ lbs & cut my body fat in half or more. The Athlytic app is easy to use and easier to understand while being well-supported & designed. Lots of data for those of us who want to really dig into details, but also useful for those who just want results. If you are willing to do the work, Athlytic will help guide you to success. Thanks!
