It used to be a great app and saved me from buying WHOOP but since upgraded to iPhone 17 pro and updated Athlytic to the latest version it crumbled; no updated data about recovery, sleep, exertion etc. Not reading workouts or showing trends so it lost its glory. Not for me anymore 👋
Best health app
I’ve used Athlytic since I got my Apple Watch several years ago. Gives very accurate data and suggestions based on that data.
A godsend during my recovery from pneumonia
I discovered a completely different use for Athlytic: recovering from pneumonia!
ChatGPT suggested Athlytic to me when I was trying to figure out how to safely manage my activity while recovering. What I expected to be a fitness app became an incredibly helpful tool throughout my seven-week recovery.
The Exertion score was particularly valuable. I could literally watch it climb while I was doing what seemed like very little—walking the dog, doing a few things around the house, or other normal daily activities. It helped me understand that even though something felt minimal, my recovering body was still working hard. That made it much easier for me to recognize when I had done enough and needed to rest.
I also loved watching my Recovery and Battery scores and trends. Over time, they gave me another way to see that I really was improving, even when the progress felt frustratingly slow.
Seven weeks later, I finally woke up feeling like myself again—and Athlytic showed a 100% Recovery score and 100 Battery. It was wonderful to have the way I felt and the data finally saying the same thing!
Athlytic has been a godsend during my recovery. I came to it because of ChatGPT, and I’ve learned how useful it can be not only for deciding when to push—but, just as importantly, when not to.
And now that I’m finally feeling like myself again, I’m looking forward to using Athlytic for its more traditional purpose—getting back to cycling and running! 🚴♀️🏃♀️

Why the change in Athlytic age
I have been a long time paid member. The app used to be 5 stars until you made the change to the Athlytic age and took away the slider bars for the bottom half. That really helped with my goals because of that I’m giving this app 3 stars. Please fix that.
Great App
Wonderful insights and great way to keep track of your health
