Widget usually shows old data

The main reason I tried this app was to show the number of minutes of zone 2 so far this week. The app does do that in principle , but it’s more-or-less unusable for that purpose in practice because it usually shows old data that doesn’t include the latest workouts, for example.

Sometimes you can cause the widget to update by opening the app. But I’m always left wondering if the widget I’m looking at is showing wrong data.

Good App

I am new to Zone 2 training for Weight Loss but I am finding the app very beneficial. It’s hard for me to log into Zone 2 on a elliptical machine. Some sort of graph that tracks. My history might help me hit this sound better, but this product is pushing me in the right direction.

Perfect!

This app does exactly what I need! Shows you what zone you are in during a workout, tracks cumulative time in your species zone (2 for me), and tracks weekly time in zone. I am aiming for 150 minutes and this app keeps me on track

Simple way to track zone 2 over time

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. I can set a target for the week of zone 2 and 5 and can keep track.

Can check straight after workouts to see if I need to spend some extra time in zone 2

The live Work out with current zone on your phone is great for cycling.

FAQ

What is Zone 2 heart rate training?

Zone 2 training involves exercising at a moderate intensity where your heart rate is typically between 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. This zone is optimal for utilizing oxygen efficiently, leading to improved aerobic capacity, increased fat burning, better cardiovascular health, and enhanced endurance.

How does this app track my Zone 2 minutes?

The app tracks your Zone 2 minutes by using workout data saved to your device that includes heart rate information. It can connect with common Bluetooth heart rate monitors and has an Apple Watch app for live tracking and feedback during workouts.

What devices are compatible with this app?

The app is compatible with common Bluetooth heart rate monitors like Polar H10 and Garmin chest straps, as well as new Garmin watches. It also features a dedicated Apple Watch app for live zone tracking and feedback directly on your wrist.

Can I use this app if I already use another workout tracker?

Yes, the app is designed to work with your existing workout tracking. It utilizes all workouts saved to your device that contain heart rate data, so you don't need to switch your primary workout tracking app.

What are the benefits of aiming for 150 minutes of Zone 2 exercise weekly?

Aiming for 150 minutes or more of weekly exercise in Zone 2 is recommended for optimizing endurance, enhancing fat-burning efficiency, and fostering sustainable fitness gains. This balance between intensity and recovery helps improve your body's ability to use oxygen and strengthens your cardiovascular system.
