I really don’t like the new view. Please make an option to make classic the default view.

Another unhelpful update

Typical of app developers these days adding more useless screens and extra taps and swipes required to do less. Less information per screen is a stupid idea. It’s like they hand over updates to junior staff who have not used the app. It used to be 4-5/5 but over the 10 plus years I’ve used this app it’s constantly been taken over by unnecessary social stuff instead of focussing on the exercise tracking

Always having trouble connecting to Apple Watch. Each device claims the other is not in range. Never had this problem with iwalker….never.

Solid Workout Tracker with Great Interval Features, but Persistent Bugs and Poor Support

I've been using iCardio for years primarily because it focuses on actual workouts rather than heavy social media integration, which I appreciate—though unfortunately, it's starting to add more of those elements over time. It supports a huge variety of activities, from running and cycling to weightlifting and even everyday tasks like yard work. The interval training setup is excellent and easy to use, and the audio cues during workouts are clear, motivating, and very effective for keeping me on track.
The online help resources are quite good for explaining how features work. However, there are some frustrating bugs that have persisted for years despite feedback:

Even with metric units selected, some workouts (especially loaded ones) default to imperial measurements.
Editing a saved session seems to work, but changes don't save—when you reload it, it reverts to the original.
Unfavoriting a session doesn't remove it from the favorites list; no amount of reinstalling fixes this.

Support is a major letdown. It's essentially just the help articles plus an AI bot that redirects you back to them. There's no real troubleshooting for bugs or user-reported issues. I've raised some of these problems multiple times over the years and only get generic advice like "reinstall the app," which doesn't help.
If it weren't for the strong interval tools, effective audio coaching, and less intrusive social features compared to competitors, I'd have switched long ago. It's a capable app held back by unresolved issues and lack of responsive support. Hope the developers address these soon!
