I cannot delete the app as it has vanished from my screen. If I search for it in apps all it shows is “open”

The Guardian is the news outlet that I check first in the morning with my coffee. I want to know what is going on in the world and especially Europe. Furthermore, the Guardian covers USA politics quite well.

My rating is given not to the Apple part of the app but to the Guardian. I clarified with the Guardian helpdesk before taking out a subscription that it could be used by my family on different devices at different addresses. I was told yes through the Guardian website. I made the error of doing it through the app on my iPad, after constant prompting by the Guardian to support them. Total lack of transparency from the Guardian when subscribing via their app that there were other ways and levels to subscribe. Thankfully Apple very quickly refunded my subscription.
