Cannot even log in to use it
Hopeless app. I’m stuck in an endless loop of identity verification and can’t even log in to use it. I’ve contacted customer support countless times over an extended period, but nothing has ever been resolved. I’ve finally given up.
It’s hard not to conclude that this is a “rewards” app HCF doesn’t really want members to use. The whole experience feels tokenistic, as though the rewards program exists for marketing purposes rather than to genuinely provide value or improve the customer experience.

terrible, buggy from get go
Can't even login, took me thru an indefinite loop of asking me to use hcf login details to login then saying unable to login. Tried 3 times and gave up. Why on earth do u need a seperate app just on mob to access this? Do the team care about CX at all at min acceptable standard? & Did they even test the poc before letting it go live? I hope this will get sorted. Such a shame as the original app work so well

**Be Warned** Terrible App, False Advertising, No Support
Should really get a Zero. The App is terrible, you need 3 accounts to get gift cards (HCF, HCF Thankyou, Egiftit), you cannot search and have to scroll to find the reward you want (not labelled by company either), it bugs and randomly gives errors without explanations (had to enter various payment details all which should have worked), WORST OF ALL when I eventually got egift cards, the discount was not applied. I raised a complaint to claim the discount, but it was rejected and I was told that the “Thank You App” is different to the “Thank You Program”. My account does not have any reward credits (after over 1 month). After the horrific experience with my rewards program claim, I am reconsidering my health insurance.

Whoops error
I attempted quite a few times. Every single time right after entering the verification codes, the app then ended up with message word “whoops”. All trouble shooting tried but no clue where the error comes from. HCF introduced this benefits but least likely to encourage customer to use it. Such a waste.

Unable to log in through my usual HCF account. Pretty useless.

I’ve got a separate account for this stupid thing and can only log into the screen with the email confirmation. The email never comes, the interface offers no help and no hope.

Not user friendly, terrible UX design
The app was designed to make users not wanting to use it. There are offers available but it’s very difficult to navigate, no search feature, filters, or store name in the heading. It’s long scrolling of a list of thumbnails and hard to read descriptions. And there’s no web version of this app. Providing feedback is impossible, endless loop with the virtual chat not going anywhere.
If HCF really wants to reward loyal members, they need to improve the user experience in this thank you app and the normal thank you rewards in the other app.

Why does this app exist??? Why isn’t it just part of the main HCF app? What a waste of time and resources. Terrible app design - you are flipping through endless cards rather than a Home Screen with sections for different types of rewards. You also can’t use your HCF login to login!! You have to create a new login with an extra long password!! Awful customer experience.

Still doesn’t work. Doesn’t accept regular account login. Are we meant to create a second account? Members deserve so much better - I’ve been with HCF 25 years. Stop frustrating your clients with this amateur BS, if you can’t make it user friendly then don’t offer and promote the app. False misleading advertising - should be reported to ACCC

Absolutely useless time waster
Any body realise that people still use a computer instead of this stupid time wasting app. Even after wasting 20 minutes registering and linking to HCF app wasted more time trying to locate anything. Quickest think I did was delete the app.

Haven’t even be able to get through registration because always get an error message just entering the one-time code! Yet getting emails from HCF encouraging me to get on this app!

The password I set was rejected and then I could not reset it. I am a loyal HCF member and I can’t receive one discount. Please keep the discount info in the main app, no need for 2 separate apps.

The app is a waste of time. It is easier to use the HCF website. I cannot believe that anyone thinks it is a good idea to have an app without search!

Why can’t you itemise the rewards by category like the website. Not very user friendly and horrible to navigate.

What a useless app. Can’t search for a specific business, not all offers listed in the very broad “categories” are listed in “all offers”. I’m pretty sure there are offers available via Thankyou Rewards on main HCF app/website that are not in the dedicated Thankyou app… but I can’t be sure because I can’t search for a specific business. I note you also can’t search for businesses on the main app either but it’s easier to navigate.
