The truthful centrist
The Independent is my favourite news source. It doesn’t shy from criticising either side of the political spectrum. The articles are honest, contain entertaining language from the writers characters, and all are there to be fairly acknowledged or judged.

Would have given 5 stars if they hadn’t stopped “get the picture” on a Saturday. Everything else about the Independent is very very good.
Fair news, poor app
Very biased- not independent. Eg pro joining the EU- no counter-arguments. I like the ability to listen to the script but the audio bar stays open making the reading of other articles harder.
Excellent newspaper
I have been a reader of the Independent for many years. I like the news and editorial content but I’m disappointed that readers’ letters have been discontinued.
