So glitchy!
Often reverts to home screen when you are in the middle of an article. Then, with that article, the same glitch continues to occur so you can never finish it. Literally the worst news app of the very many I’ve used.

The app update has much improved it! Stories coming through quickly, easy to read, easy to navigate, and no intrusive advertising.
Crashes
Hello anyone at home at the JC web design department? If you read this, understand that your app no longer works. It is a hapless, hopeless app, if you had updated it it would be a happy app once again. If Moses could part the sea and the Zealots could hold back the Roman legions for years, then the Jewish Chronicle's web design department can fix this app. Please make us all happy again. Let my people read again.

App is now Useless
The app which previously worked well is now useless. It will not open, gives me less than a second of a black screen and then closes down. I have noticed that it has not been updated for 3 years - perhaps it needs an overhaul.

Tap on the app and it trys to open then exits to phone home screen. Do you not test these things?
Another update today says "bug fix" but doesn't fix anything. Still closes immediately after opening. Completely rubbish.

Very unhappy!
I have subscribed by post & the last few years with on line subscription. Never any problem The new app definitely has a bug in it. Cannot download current JC or past issues! Wasted so much time trying to sort it out and have now given up! My subscription ends this month and will not be renewing it unless app is changed.

App disaster
I have been a subscriber to the Jewish Chronicle for many years and indeed am paid up until August 2017. Following instructions last week, I downloaded the new app with great expectations. Disaster! I am apparently not recognised as a paid up subscriber and have been unable to view last week's and this week's papers.
According to the app support team and the JC customer services, they are "working on it". Not good enough. There is a serious bug and it should be fixed ASAP, before I cancel and get a refund!!
