Pirate game
Actually been playing for several years. You can advance without spending real cash but it takes time and effort. Good amount of modifications available, people in game are fairly cool. Not a bad app with decent action and graphics.

Nothing like the adverts made it out to be. Not even a cutesy pixel art style. Language is very very poorly translated meaning the games systems and mechanics are largely a mystery. Boring gameplay. Save yourself the trouble

they offer rewards for a “5 star review.” poor performing game with lots of bugs which go unanswered by the team. Was ok for a week until i realized the game stinks. if you want a 5 star review - earn it!
Could be better, but fun
I’m the weird person who prefers diplomacy and trade on big world games rather than combat. So I really like that bit. The combat isn’t bad either because you can skip it. I just wish there was more to this game. Finding a spouse and creating a pirate family empire, for instance. Actual Treasure hunts where you have to go to a number of points. Each one would have a small treasure until the big one at the end. There is tons they can do with this!

Pay to win
Played for a few days and it’s definitely not a five star game. All these people giving 5 stars are only looking to get the in game rewards. Tasks are repetitive, lots of grinding, constantly getting attacked and robbed by higher level players. This is why they have 800 servers since you really can’t progress unless you pay or join the new server early to take the advantage.

Old School - Love it!
This is by far the best old school games. Though it has the pay2win elements, it’s totally a play2win game.
Love the simple back and forth trading mechanics.
Two suggestions to the developers, include more random valuables from killing other pirates (like teleport, skip etc.) and also include weather mechanics. At least the four seasons with different visuals.
