Lots of grammatical errors. It seems every article is AI-generated and published without editing. There are several duplicate articles every day. When I first started using this app, I clicked articles with identical photos to see if one might be an update of a previous article, but found them both to be identical. The level of writing is around third form. Some of the ads are offensive. Recently, you were running ads about Obama and Clinton's children. I find that disgusting. Draw the line at politicians' children, regardless of age. They did not choose to be children of politicians, and must not be used in ads or gossip columns. That's bad form and should be beneath the dignity of a major British news organization. Decide to be better than a trashy gossip rag.

I wish the News Briefing Newsletter didn’t flip stories right every time I attempt to scroll. I often end up deleting the email instead. It is a nightmare and needs fixing.

Failed update
I used to happily use this app on a regular basis. Then it broke when ios17 came out which I accept can happen but it took a while to fix. Now it opens but insists on registering without any explanation as to why they now want your email address where they didn’t need it before. This is a big fail in the user experience for me and I’m not going to provide my email without them at least explaining why they now NEED this. I’ll check back in a week or so to see if they’ve dropped this requirement (from which we could infer all sorts of sneaky intent), and if not the app will be deleted.

Update : iOS app update now makes app operational however now requires a ‘sign-in’ ( create account) prior to accessing any content .
Maybe they should now explain why this is the case? , and to what gain unless they’re heading towards a subscription model ???

Apples latest update iPadOS 17.0.1 breaks the Evening a Standard App. The App crashes on opening.
