Interesting App
Good to see how much renewables we are using. One thing I don’t understand is the Max No Coal record from 2020. Surely we aren’t still burning coal for electricity generation?
Not granular enough
The app only shows end & solar, no mention of Hydro, a major generator in Northern Scotland
Missing Regional When To Use
I was sent to this app by the WhenToPlugIn app, which has now shut down. Unfortunately this app does not replace it, since it doesn’t show the next best times to use electricity based on regional predictions or current data - only national.
Interesting - but records not updated???
Interesting app.
But please check the records are updated correctly? Solar records is from’23. Grid data suggests solar output exceeded that level multiple times in March ‘25.

Water ?
Colour palette somewhat better now thanks BUT what happened to water as a source ? I never see any hydro on the grid anywhere using this app. Surely that can’t be right ?!
