Pathetic app

I admire the print version of the Indian express. However the app version is just pathetic and useless.
I can't change my edition to Delhi just because I accidentally selected the wrong city initially. Even after contacting the email no action was taken.
I even purchased the subscription but it is asking me to buy again to read on app. Btw downloading the paper from the website is another big headache. Hope they make changes soon)

The new IE

This is my favourite news paper for many years, now as an ePaper ,it comes at very affordable price to me,.Kudos

Good coverage of Mangalore

While the coverage of an event post the event is good, there is NO ADVANCE INTIMATION of an event which is going to happen.

Please try to introduce a calendar in Monday’s paper which gives advance intimation on the week’s events.

My view of your newspaper

I have been an e-subscriber last two years. Your paper has been following a reasonably balanced stand on issues. However, of late, I see a trend. The paper has been moving away from an objective to a perceptible anti-centre, to be more precise anti BJP, position. Your Senior Editor comes up with an article every Sunday, pouring discontent on the Centre, in particular, the PM and HM, as if is a crusade, mostly opinionating without a methodical analysis. I have myself written letters to the Editor. Not published.

When a victim happens to belong to a backward community, his caste is highlighted, making it hypocritical and even socially vengeful. Any analysis of an election is incomplete without an analysis of the caste and religion. India is not exactly a caste-driven, religiously divided nation as conveyed as the western media or as the theocratic neighbouring countries would want.

Finally, certain familiar names always crowd the letters published in your paper. It does not go much beyond a spectrum.

I have a suggestion. The letters should be more widespread and voices not exactly in line with your current trend should find a place. Thank you if you will publish my review.

Good app, but unable to view in HD

As stated in the title, there is no option available to read the paper in HD on iPad. Please update this important feature.

Also, it would be great if there is landscape mode.
