User reviews

App is horrible

Delete and reinstall, clear cache, nothing works.

Fantastic writing, annoying ads

I would pay an additional $10 per month for an ad-free experience across the app and website—no display ads, sponsored recommendations, autoplay, promotional pop-ups, or nonessential tracking. Please add this as a distinct subscription tier

Games UX poor

The games UX is really bad. If you want to do past puzzles, you have to guess at what you’ve previously done, it doesn’t show you before opening a puzzle. The partner mode is glitchy. Furthermore, if you switch doing the puzzle between devices, you lose all your progress on the new device. Super frustrating experience for something as simple as a… crossword.

Doesn’t work

Main page and games just show a blank screen. Same process blew over and over

Terrible and inconsistent

The app repeatedly and inconsistently freezes and does not display content. It will appear to be working and then freeze on a white screen. Online chat help is useless.
