Infuriatingly bad app
The app is insultingly bad. I constantly get stuck in a loop of being prompted to log in and then it not recognizing that I have a valid subscription. I’ve contacted support before, they apologize, it works for a bit, and then the process starts again. I love the New Yorker, but this is ridiculous. Either use the desktop site or just cancel your subscription entirely, because the app is basically a non-option at this point.

Search is suboptimal
I can’t find older articles I’d like to read using search. I really want to be able to do that.
Online Service Stinks
I've been having problems logging in using my still valid subscription for over at least two weeks now and their support staff is either unable or unwilling to fix my issue. I keep getting asked to renew my subscription and the link to reset my password has disappeared.
Why is the app so horrible
I get suggested New Yorker adds for stories I want to read and then when I click it not only will it never link to the app but when I sign in I’m taking to the New Yorker Home Screen and it’s impossible to find the story. When I search the title of the piece in the app it never comes up. Please just make the search bar work. It makes me want to cancel my subscription every time it happens but I love the reporting

The worst search
I love New Yorker almost as much as I hate their app. The search is unusable, you can’t find anything in it. Get a UX designer.
