Can’t use it

I used to like this app a lot, but I’m no longer able to sign in. This isn’t user error. I assumed it was actually a bug that someone would get around to eventually, but the automated Condé Nast sign in link genuinely doesn’t work, so… I’ll just have to delete the app. And potentially reconsider my subscription, since I can’t access this content on the go.

Garbage

I’m a digital subscriber. But the app refuses to open. The New Yorker help desk is equally useless. The website still works. The app, though, is garbage.

Needs update

Recently the app started crashing any time I try to open one of the “classic” articles I’ve saved.

Worthless app

It is virtually impossible to enter enough credentials to be allowed to read the magazine. I’m a hair away from cancelling a magazine I’ve subscribed to for 5 decades. FGD app.

Love the content, hate the AI “voice”

I left Apple News and subscribed to this app because I love the wide variety of content (and the games, too!). But one thing I can’t get over is how the articles are narrated by an AI “voice.” It was really jarring to go from listening to human narrated articles on Apple News to AI narration on The New Yorker (honestly, still can’t believe it’s not the other way around). Please *Please* consider changing this - I know it’s probably cheaper and easier to use it, but it leaves an “ick” on these great human produced articles.
