They never let me access my subscription
Two years ago, I ordered a subscription. Everything was fine. Last year, it auto- renewed, so I tried to read the magazine. I thought there was just a glitch, because every time I tried to download the magazine, it would ask for my login, but wouldn’t ever accept my login. I would remember later and try it again, no success. I even went to their website on my computer to login…always said no such user existed. I sent an email, never heard back. So of course I canceled the subscription since the $42.99 was a complete waste last year. Such a shame there’s no customer support, because it really is a great magazine.

DO NOT PURCHASE
The app has always had poor functionality. It was updated 3 weeks ago and now doesn’t work. Apple are blaming the app developer who are blaming Apple….but they can’t possibly talk to each other and resolve the issue so the customer doesn’t receive what they paid for. That constitutes stealing.
Can’t download latest edition and no help from emails
Absolutely disgusted. Page suite and peoples friend are not interested in the fact that my subscription is being paid but cannot download the last two editions. One reply to my first email over a week ago, saying not our problem not had the edition sent to them.All subsequent emails enquiring as to what is being done to rectify it have been ignored yet still taking my money.

Why can’t I read issues that I’ve paid for
I cancelled my subscription to People’s Friend but surely I should still be able to read the issues that I’ve paid for. All the issues that I paid for are downloaded but it won’t let me read them. This can’t be right!

A poor app getting worse
This app has always been irritating because it loses your place between reading times instead of bookmarking and returning to the same place. Then last weekend it stopped opening and said there was nothing to display and I needed to edit(!) After a lot of backwards and forwards with support it began working about 36 hours later. Now it’s done the same again this weekend. I decided to review here rather than doing the support runaround again. Please fix this app, or I will be cancelling my subscription!
