What's New in The Provider
1.1
October 19, 2026
What’s New This update fixes the bug where you couldn’t get married, buy a home or buy a car, plus dozens of other fixes and improvements. FIXED: “NOT ENOUGH HOURS” After saving and reloading, the game said you didn’t have enough hours to get married, buy a home, buy a car and more, no matter how many hours you had. That’s fixed, and old saves are repaired automatically. FASTER LIFE EVENTS Weddings take half the time: 2 hours at the courthouse, 6 for a backyard or full production. Buying a car now takes 4 hours, and buying a home takes 6. Squeeze it in: if your month is full, you can still get married or buy a home or car. The missing hours cost you stress instead. SEE WHERE YOUR HOURS GO Tap the Free Time bar to see exactly what’s using your month: your job, kids, classes, your company and more. When something doesn’t fit, the game shows how many hours it needs, how many you have, and how to free some up. MONEY THAT ADDS UP Rental houses now pay their rent, and vacancies cost you. Rent split with a partner or roommate is now counted correctly. Roommates now pay half the rent. Investors take the share they agreed to, and selling a company now pays off its loans. Insurance costs what you picked, disability cover is billed, and franchise royalties are no longer counted twice. Home prices, mortgages and engagement rings now rise with inflation. Fixed several charges that showed on your receipt but never came out of your account. MORE FIXES Closing the app on the end-of-month receipt no longer replays the month. Leasing a car while you already own one no longer erases it. Selling your home clears everything that belonged to that house. Changing jobs keeps your experience, one rung below where you were. “Sell & go” when moving states, the investing performance screen and practice tax filing now work. Seasonal park events follow the real calendar, and Spring Kite Day is here. Three business campaigns that did nothing (reposition, referral, sponsor) now work. Each company keeps its own money manager. The family diner job now has promotions and raises. Your life story shows the right jobs, promotions, children and home. Several messages no longer overwrite each other, so you see them all. NEW: REPORT A PROBLEM Found a bug? Tap Report a problem in the menu. It opens your email with your save attached, and nothing is sent unless you tap Send. Thanks for playing, and for the bug reports that made this update happen.
