What's New in The Receptionist for iPad

This update focuses on some minor bug fixes to our previous release including the following: - Previously the button orientation was not displayed as correct when iPad is rotated. This has now functions correctly so that when the screen orientation is unlocked (setting on Home Screen), the user can turn the iPad between Portrait and Landscape mode while on the buttons screen aligns with the button organization. - There were issues in the text not wrapping once reaching a certain number of characters on the iPad screen. We have updated this so that no matter how long the text, the screen will wrap longer text entered and be visible when a user is adding text for ID Capture fields. This update ensures a reliable, improved user experience on all modern iPads, specifically those running iPadOS 26. If you are using an older iPad that is not compatible with iOS 26, please contact our support team at support@thereceptionist.com

Technical Coordinator

I am always a fan of new and exciting technology that can be incorporated into a business to help automate or streamline processes. The Receptionist for iPad can meet a majority of those needs. There are constraints with setting up those processes and getting the software to fit your specific and unique needs. I would like to see a checklist option to cut down on navigating and button selection. As a suggestion, it would also be nice to have a signature line field and an option for this to be an iPhone app.
