This version of the app, while I have both, restores the feeling like you’re actually flipping through the local news each morning like you would with the actual paper and less like the feed stream of a social media site! Best of both worlds if you ask me but if you’re a fan of the other style they have that too! Not to mention have you seen some of the subscription deals they’re offering - practically giving it away- support your local news source!

Local journalism is important
App has a great layout for all users. People who like the ‘classic’ feel of reading a newspaper and those who want an audio version of a story would both love this app.
Enjoy using the app
I enjoy reading the Canton Repository every morning without the newspaper mess. At first it was an adjustment but I finally accepted the online newspaper. The app isn’t difficult to navigate once you learn its features.
Great app for a great local paper
Nice to be able to navigate between print view and reader view. Previous issues readily available and easy to switch between sections.
E edition
I like having the e edition to read.
From a former Cantonian
I find the Repository very informative about my hometown although I haven’t lived there for 40 years. Family members still live there and I like finding out what’s happening there.
Just like the old days
I very much enjoy the ability to see the paper in a familiar print format. The fact you can click on an article and see it in it’s entirety is great. No need to flip pages to locate the remainder.
Have an issue about daily downloads. Often times it reverts to previous issues causing me to have to go find it.

Love it! So easy to read and page through. Since I get an email every day, it is a great reminder to check it out!
Better experience than Digital Edition
I love this app and enjoy using it much more than the digital online edition of The Rep. There’s a lot more news available and I feel like I’m actually reading the local newspaper. So glad to have finally discovered it. The Repository should really advertise that this exists, as we only just recently discovered it by chance.

Doesn’t work on iPhone
The app is terrible, downloaded and deleted multiple times with a paying subscription. It doesn’t work and nobody at the paper or app developer wants to help.

Love reading the Canton Repository on line but, VERY upset you have replaced the Bible Verse of the day with persons quote.
