Expensive
Everything is so expensive I miss when the game was fun now it takes forever to complete tasks cause they take 22 hours and buildings cost so much. The new quest you miss out on a lot of the new items because you half to win simchase or complete the clan stuff , I wish we could just be able to get those items those quests aren’t really fun and take away from what makes sims fun wich is playing and building , if you want more stuff like that make it easier for us. Also we need to clothes and hair styles.

Love it, but…
I love this game, it’s amazing, but I keep deleting it because it becomes either too stressful, overwhelming, expensive or boring.
The stress comes from the fact that you have to take care of a whole town full of sims that can’t do much by themselves, or anything for that matter.
The overwhelming comes from the same thing as the stress, but I find, with the competitions and needing to build more things to level up and not being able to unlock stuff without being a certain level, completing the competitions, not having enough money to build stuff etc, is a lot. Especially for my neurodivergent brain.
The expensive stuff is from the fact that when you reach a certain level, or whenever you level up, this get super expensive, and, for me, end up at a point where I just flat out can’t buy it, because I don’t have enough in-game currency, or enough Sims to make more in-game currency or whatever. And that’s hard and frustrates me.
Now, the boring part comes from the fact that the game becomes boring to me. Yes, I could do the competitions in the game, but everything in Sims has a timer on it, like, you go make your Sim do an action like, take a shower. That has a timer on it, for how long it’ll take until your sim is done. I don’t mind that feature, but I don’t like it. At all. And I don’t have the time to check in on the game every so often to see if the timer has ended, my brain doesn’t do that. I also have a life. And these competitions have limited time available, and lots of times, I’m too late to get any kind of reward.
And I’m more of a roleplaying kind of gal, and Sims doesn’t have much of that Roleplay vibe to it, so for me, it gets boring quite quickly, because I want a game like Sims Freeplay, but more roleplay-y, like, you can do all this stuff you can in Sims, but with more of a Roleplay vibe to it.
All and all, I love Sims Freeplay, but for me, it’s missing that spark that draws me to any kind of game. I’ll, of course, play it, because I like the game, but I might decide to delete it once I get bored with it. Then redownload it again once I’m bored with everything and want something new, and so on and on… good game though, I must admit.

Update Doesn’t work!
Definitely not my storage as I have hundreds left. Not my internet either as I have a goos connection. Stuck at error.
Bug
Bug,bug,bug. I don’t know what happened with this new update,but now I can’t even open the game fully. The loading screen has now gotten stuck in a loop of telling me there was a load error & my current credentials cannot be accessed.

I picked this game back up after years of not playing it and it was fun again until this new update came now I can’t even play the app anymore
Cannot access after update
I love this game and have been playing for years on my iPad, but recently I cannot access the game with Wi-Fi, I have to connect via Bluetooth to my phone for cellular, now all the sudden it won’t let me even do that so I cannot access years worth of gameplay, such a shame because I absolutely love this game, but if there is no resolution I might as well step away from the game permanently since I cannot access it at all

I’m writing this review. I’ve been playing for 20 years. I finally got to level 66. I worked hard on this game and your new recent update would not load it hasn’t loaded in 48 hours. It isn’t doing anything. I cannot report a problem because it’s stuck on the screen I don’t care who designed this game. You do not have the people’s interest at heart it used to be fun to play. You don’t fix your issues. I lost purchases and everything at level 66. So I had to delete my game. I just wanted you to know that I will never ever recommend your game to any of my friends. Thank you.

Update broke the game
I tried opening my game after installing the new updated content, yet it won’t allow me to enter. It says the wifi is the problem but i checked/started it over and still cannot get into the app

I been trying to go into my game was on last quest of the swimming pool and it says it was an error and lost connection multiple people have reported this today. Fix this please!
One thing after another 😔
I really enjoy the game however what happened to all the romance options? Also I had to start over after the new update. So I essentially lost everything. I could not get anything back. 😭If this happens again in the next update, and the romance options don’t comeback I think it’s sign I should stop playing this game. I was on level 14 and I was on the working on the sunset mall quest. Actually on the planters quest. And I lost all my simoelons. And I had just started the flying broomstick quest. Please EA fix the sims.😭

The #1 game ever!
So I’m like a month in and I’m already at level nine! My friend sam bojangles (that’s her YouTube channel. Go check it out!) and I’ve been playing it non stop for a while now! It’s my favorite game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Game is broken
Like others are reporting, my game is stuck on the download screen. I have tried downloading the update on iPhone and iPad with the same issue. I’m not even able to submit a report to EA because I can’t get past the loading screen to find my player ID. Hopefully they resolve this issue soon, but I expect better beta testing before this type of role out.

updates
unable to bypass updates, servers shaky. two weeks ago i was demoted from level 17 to level 10 and just worked my way back up in time for the summer updates. now i am unable to bypass the update in an effort to avoid the crowded servers. i am in a loop of incomplete download and have been unable to open the app for the past two hours.
