New version sucks
No ability to use Apple Pay, have to enter credit card information manually each time. What is this, 2015? Old version worked better had better UI this version is a disaster. Prolly gonna go to CostCutters or Hair Cuttery now.
This rate is for the app
I’ve been a customer of The Spot for a while and have been managing most of my appointments through their app. Today, when I tried to schedule an appointment, I noticed there was a new update. Unfortunately, the update is not working well. My preferred location is no longer showing, and the app doesn’t display the staff schedule by location, which is very important because sometimes I choose a different staff member based on availability.
The app also deleted my saved card information and didn’t allow me to use the quick payment option. I had to enter all my card details manually, and after completing the information three times, it still didn’t save, so I couldn’t complete the reservation.
I ended up having to call the branch to book my appointment. I also heard other customers experiencing the same issue. In my opinion, the new update is not ready yet.
The service itself is still very good—this complaint is only about the app.

Horrible
The new app is so complicated to navigate, crashes when I try to pay and book an appointment and even charge an unknown amount without a confirmation of any purchase sent to email or message to my phone.
New UI is not great
They took away Apple Pay and sign in by texts the previous system was fast and efficient. This one is not.
The new app isn’t good
No Apple Pay, way more difficult to navigate around the app, charges you right away—no bueno.
