Cannot log on
Got the annual subscription. Got a new password. Reinstalled. Still can’t log on. I don’t expect a quick response from tsp. Disappointed.
What happened to Christmas?
How many years has it been since the meaning and origin of Christmas was mentioned in the Christmas edition. Very biased news!
Puzzled
My rating is due to the change of puzzles, most likely a cost cutting measure.I can’t see how we could be talking about a significant amount of money, as such this may cause subscribers to quit, as I plan to do in the near future. Freezes up. Yes even the latest release.
Fix this already. As of a couple updates ago the app freezes up all the time. Kill it and try to reopen and it drags on forever trying to open.
Great When it Works
Usually no problem until about a month ago when we couldn’t log in with one of our two devices. Brought up to tech support that the problem is in our account on their end and, despite three reminders, nothing yet…
Love the paper
Only problem is that I am told that we qualify for free access for online ePaper and I have phoned ?five times and everything was supposed to be fixed. The last time that I phoned the lady said that she would set up a new password in our email. It hasn’t come

I like having a daily newspaper so I maintain a subscription but the star-phoenix is truly awful. Not to be too harsh, but it can only be a matter of time till this paper is out of business. Best of luck. You’re going to need it.

We have been subscribers for over 45 years. The SP is getting worse and worse. The reporters now seem to think that anyone who complains deserves a column, without even getting the other side of the story. These one-sided stories are getting out of hand. The slant of almost any article is how the person is wronged, and that someone else is responsible and should fix it. Quite disappointing. There seems to be little research into finding out the facts before publishing these types of stories

Gone downhill
I have used the digital version to print the crossword puzzle. Recently the crossword has been reformatted in such a way that it is not easily printed as a print screen. Not sure why we get the paper anymore.

Star Phoenix
Have been a subscriber for many decades. Cannot imagine my morning without the Star Phoenix. Am reading online because am on a brief holiday, but prefer a hard copy “in hand”.....pmb

Works fine. I just wish you had to put your REAL name on comments added. Some are a waste of space and would read quite different if real name was used!
No support for Iphone 11
Very disappointed in the lack of support from the Star Phoenix. I have been an epaper subscriber for several years and now find it won’t work on my new Iphone 11. After 3 calls for support their only suggestion was to delete and reinstall the app. That didn’t work so they referred me to Apple. They also failed to call me back as promised. I called Apple support and was told that the app developer is responsible to fix the problem. No point having a subscription if it won’t work and they can’t offer support. They want you to enter a nickname for your review. Disappointed, very disappointed, frustrated and no support already taken. What does that tell you? Pathetic

...back to the old days of this app not working....can’t access and of the papers I paid for last two days....why bother....can access most online news online for free....cancelling my $10 per month subscription...doesn’t work anyways....
Can’t log in and still trying.
I believe that I am finally insane! I keep doing the same things over and over and still expect a different outcome. Install the app for a couple days and then can’t log in. Uninstall and reinstall. Repeat every couple days.
Not good
Will not let me log in. Tried on several devices. Called for help from The Star Phoenix and after hours of uninstalling and reinstalling we still can't log in. Very frustrating!!!
