About
Welcome. I never planned to build an app. Honestly, I wasn't sure the world needed another breath work app.
I kept coming back to one question. Can the ancient Indian practice of pranayama belong in modern life without losing its depth? The Still Path is my attempt to answer that question.
Still has grown quietly through people who walk the path and share it with someone they care about.
There are three ways to practise.
The Still Path
It's a guided journey through six chapters and one hundred sits. Simply open the app, continue from your current sit, practise, and return the next day. Each guided audio sit builds on the last, gradually increasing in depth and duration. Along the way, you'll encounter short video check-ins where I'll share what to expect next and answer the questions that naturally arise. Every chapter also includes a practice guide exploring the breath, the mind, and the practices you'll encounter. My hope is that, by Sit 100, the practice has become your own, and you don't really need the app.
Moods
Yoga describes five states of the mind. Notice where you are, and begin there.
Moments
Sometimes you don't need the whole path. You just need something small. Before focused work. When you wake up. Before sleep. Or simply on a difficult day.
For now, don't think too much about any of it. Just begin with your first sit, and the rest will follow.
