Not ipad friendly
This is probably ok if you are using a mobile phone, but it isn’t any use on an ipad as it is a very small screen. Deleted.
Rubbish Update
Now constantly crashes during navigation and you’ve removed the ability to choose the news topics you want to follow/read.
Deleted the app and I’m enjoying other news apps that have not once mentioned Katie Price drama as breaking news!

I used to buy a paper Sun every day for 50 odd years. After becoming disabled the walk to the paper shop became too much. But the saving grace was the online Sun, I thought I’d not get on with it, being an old man and a total technophobe. But no it’s spot on easy to navigate and I can still do the crossword and other puzzles which is a bonus.

Why does the app not support dark mode?
Utterly ridiculous in this day and age that you can't read this app at night because it doesn't have a dark mode and it strains the eyes. Can't believe they would forget something so obvious as this
Rubbish Now!
Have just deleted this app and moved over to the Mirror. Too many articles hidden behind a pay wall, and there seemed to be more hidden daily. I mean, let’s face it, most of the articles in this paper (and the Mirror to be fair) are badly written rubbish. But just when you see an article that may be interesting - especially ones regarding health - they whack it behind the paywall. Enough is enough! No such restrictions with the Mirror

The app has always been rubbish. Slow and clunky but usable to read the stories. Then they hide some behind a paid section, fine.
Then this update is AWFUL!!!! Gone is the top menu bar where you could customise what you wanted to have on it. Now it’s a stupid menu with all the garbage. Whoever decided to change to this POS needs sacking!!!!! And after several updates it’s just as bad.

Latest change wiped out half the useful functionality. Now totally useless.

Far too much scrolling involved in the new update! The app keeps logging me out, I have to log back in each time i want to use the puzzles section!
