Won’t open
As I am new to the ukulele I have been trying to find an app where I can learn to play it. At first it looked very good so I downloaded it only to find that when I open it returned me to my Home Screen . I am disappointed because if it wasn’t glitchy it would be a great app for me.
A little backwards
Firstly, make sure mute isn’t on if you want sound. This is actually a good thing, but the app should point it out. I was confused at first.
But this app seems to do things around the wrong way in a number of places.
The tuner isnt a tuner, it plays notes and you tune by ear yourself. Surely
A tuner should actually tell you if you are in tune?
And the chord finder doesn’t find chords, you find the chords then it names them. Surely the other way around would make more sense?

Love the chord library and chord finder
I use this solely for the chord library and the chord finder. Those are the best tools when I’m working out sheet music or transposing something and trying to find the right sounding chords that fit. Worth it simply for those tools.
I love this app
There are so many Uke apps out there. Every so often I try something new and end up deleting the new app and coming back to this one. When I first started playing Uke a decade ago, I uses this app to find chords. Now that I'm a more advanced player I use this app to find scales up and down the fingerboard.

Doesn’t work
I loved the YouTube version and thought I would support this teacher by upgrading. As with the previous review I get no volume on the app. Big fix??? Would give a 5 star for the teacher but the app is useless without sound.
Used to love it
Somewhere along the way, the chord identifications scooted up into the blank notch of the phone, making this app almost useless to me. I see they state they have fixed this issue in iPhone XR. I have an iPhone 12. You shouldn’t have to have the very latest hardware for an app that’s been out a few years to work.

Looks great but no sound
The app looks great, I like the interface and you seem to get a lot in the free version.
I’d be tempted to upgraded to pro too as it’s a one off low price but I can’t hear any of the videos. Checked phone and app settings and still nothing. Can’t learn to play if I can’t hear the lesson.

Love this app.
I love this app, but on some pages like the chord library the help face is blocking the right scroll arrow! Otherwise it’s very pleasant to use.

Just plain perfect
I don’t know how some of you guys rated this app as useless. I can’t find one single error with the app. Everything is just perfect. I downloaded the free version and it behaved flawlessly then I bought the pro version. So far so good.
Pretty good app
I like this app but it does need a update. I am using a iPhone 12 mini and the black box for the speaker often covers the most important information in this app. It is also difficult to show it on the phone. Because I can’t swap up until you are at the bottom of the fret board. The key should probably be displayed on the top left or right instead of the top center. That way it will show or everything should be moved down.

App won’t play sound
Recommended from a friend who loves it. They must have purchased when the developers were still fixing bugs but if you look closer than I did, there hasn’t been an update in a long time. Tech support link takes you to a defunct url. Luckily I only lost $1.99.
Get the free version and check the sound, if it won’t play upgrading to the pro version won’t fix it.

Really useful
This is just what I had been looking for. I particularly like the chord finder and chord library. I did have a problem upgrading to Pro (turned out to be my iPad, not the app), but the app owner and tech support responded quickly and were very helpful.
No audio…
Useless. No audio on the videos.

I love app but the tutorial video has no sound uninstall reinstall tried everything.
Sound is not working
The sound for the videos isn’t working for me at all on my iPhone X, although I’m sure the app is lovely. Please fix this! :)
Developer not reading reviews? fix sound
It’s frustrating to see reviews 1-2 years old where people can’t hear sound and I, a new user, could not hear the sound. Using an iPhone. The reviewer here who stumbled upon taking phone ringer off silent mode to fix sound is a godsend. It worked (!) So take your phone ringer off silent mode, close and reopen app and see if works. Developer should have realized this was an issue and remedied. * I have to say, I love the initial stylish, simple, retro, non cluttered look of app * But the links don’t look like links (example in playlists) but plain text, and don’t radically change when you select. You have to learn to long press to open them. App needs some improvement and fix sound issue. The covers look fun but I’m sure many of us would like a rundown or chord chart so we can try.

Honestly Terrible
If you’re new to Ukelele as I am, this app is useless; not only do you get to handle trying to learn a new instrument, but you get to navigate an app that begs you to buy the pro version incessantly. I fell for it fo a minute, but as soon as I hit “send”, I’m deleting this app.
Sound fixe
I like this app but if you have trouble with the sound just make sure the ringer on your phone is turned on. The sound won’t work with the ringer on silent mode.
