Nearly perfect

The only thing missing is a way to mark your place in the poem. It would be a very good addition. Otherwise it’s totally brilliant.

Interactive Notes Inaccurate to Touch

When you touch on a highlighted part, the note does not pop up. You have to touch around the highlighted part—left, right, above, below and everywhere in between—to get the note to pop up. Very frustrating! Sent a support note to the devs. Let’s see whether and how soon they will fix it.

iPad OS 16.3.1; iPad Air 5th gen.

Other than the “Perspectives” section, the content seems to be OK.

Really exceptional content

You get a lot of bang for your buck with this app, including a filmed reading of the poem by Fiona Shaw and readings by many other famous actors such ad Alec Guiness. In may come as a surprise to learn T S Eliot‘s own oft cited reading of the wasteland is actually not that good as he completely fails to convey the many different voices who are speaking in the poem. My advice: listen to a proper actor reading it and get this app

Beautiful

Grateful for this. And would love to see more like it.

Brilliant

I have watched Fiona Shaw's performance at least a dozen times and am always floored.
