Thank you so very much for your rating and app review. Our hearts are warmed to know the The Word Speaks is helping you. We are working on some improvements and hope to have them published soon. We are looking to add other translations, but that is a time consuming process to negotiate contracts, pricing and then the engineering to incorporate it into the app. We have published another app which addresses some of the concerns you mentioned. The name of this app is “The Interactive Talking Bible”. My wife is also visually impaired and we created it to allow her to study the Bible again. She uses daily. Here are some of the features it has: 1. You tap the screen and say a Book chapter and verse and it will be read back to you. Say “Joshua 1 verse 9” and this scripture will be read to you. You can Say “Psalms chapter 23” and the entire chapter will be read to you. Also you can search for scriptures by tapping the screen and say “Search for love in the Gospels” and the 1st 12 scriptures containing “Love” in the books Matthew, Mark, Luke and John will be read to you. It’s easy to use, you just tap on the screen and when you feel the vibration speak your command. To pause the reading of scripture, simply tap on the screen. To continue after pausing just tap again. To stop the read just swipe your finger to the right on the screen. 2. The app has a one time fee of $3.99, no subscription fees. 3. The App supports the ESV and KJV translations.
