Best app on the Market

Easy to use and helps with your game

Better options

Used a couple of different apps to work with my Apple Watch Ultra over the past years. Get Hole19, more features, same pricing for subscription. On the plus side, TheGrint looks good, but ending a round with 75% with Hole19 is just a nobrainer compared to the drained 32% using TheGrint.

Heard battery drain was a problem back in 2023, I must say it’s even worse now it seems.

Save your sanity, use Hole19 over this every round.

Best app for golfers

Easy to use, fun to track scores. All in all best app for golf

Paid Users Only

WOW can’t even add a score on the free version when there are so many other options in the market for casual golfers!!!!

I use it but…

I’ve used the Grint for about five years. I have the pro version. Recently, I thought I would take a look at the information stored, run it through an AI and get some help with my game. It turns out you can’t get any of the information you record. all that data From the course scores and shot did you enter is not available. And the tools that Grint has to analyze the data are very specific and limited. I feel like for the pro version, It should be simple to download the data. So I like the Grint for ease of use (yardage, score input, etc) and automatic score input to GHIN. But to actually use all that data that you capture I’m not sure what the advantage is. I feel like I’ve wasted my time inputting all that data at this point.

Awesome scorecard and shot tracker

A guy in the Golf Course told me about this app and decided to check it out, Man am I glad I took them up on that. What a great app this is the free version is useful and very helpful and the paid version is even better depending on what you want out of the app. I personally use it for distances on approach shots and score tracking.

Connectivity issues between I-watch and phone

Overall been using this app for two years. So have the majority of my friends that I play with. The biggest issue we all experience is when the watch won’t connect to the phone… and or will not move to the next hole on its own after inputting score. Small bugs like that can kind of drive you crazy. Pretty annoying. If there was another app that had the same social aspects with no issues I would
Purchase it.

Need auto score

The app is good, the only down fall is even though i am tracking my shots, i still have to manually in put my final strokes for the hole.

A little pricey

It is 59,99$ a year to unlock its true potential but even the part you don’t have to pay for is very useful, I use use it every round

Buggy

Lost all round stats because playing partner didn’t have grint. So when trying to save the round I received the error “can’t post round if “has” 8 empty holes “. Waste of time glad I didn’t purchase subscription.

Awesome

I use the Grint 2-3 times a week, so do my friends and golf partners. Uploads my score to GHIN without fail. Allows my group to follow each other’s scores and trash talk when appropriate.
Highly recommend.

Not able to connect Golf Canada

This would be a way better app if you could connect your golf Canada handicap profile. Seems you can only get USGA connected. Not great

App Crash

Can we please look into the app crashing? Trying to add friends or perform anything other than scoring isn’t working properly. It’s a great app, but these issues are making it difficult to use. Hopefully we can get an update out as soon as possible.

Freezes

Great app, but freezes when trying to add new golfers

Grint Crashes

My Grint app keeps crashing everytime I click on someone's profile picture, Click on comment button under the scorecard, or just trying to click my own profile. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Updated my iphone to latest SW as well but nothing seems to work.

I tried logging on my computer and it is working fine. Not sure what is happening as this started happening a couple of days back.

Horrible UI

Use a different golf app.

Absolutely terrible UI design. Even the most basic functionality is impossible to find. My friends and I try to use it to track our rounds together and every single time it takes us multiple tries and 2 full holes to work around the bugs and poor design to actually get a round going with proper score tracking. Half the time we give up and just track our scores on our own.

TheGrint is Great

I started using TheGrint it has a great UI to track your score and advanced stats like puts, etc. It has a GPS feature that provides distance to the pin as well as the ability to manually measure distances on each hold. Once I record my round it automatically loads it up to GHIN for my handicap. This is a top app.

Ideal for game improvement

If you believe in practicing, on or off the course. This details and stats this app provides if you input the corrects stats during a round is amazing.

Too much personal data

Sorry I’m got giving you my date of birth

Kind of a good app

While the info the app supplies for you whilst on the course is exceptional the only downfall is how you track your shots. The biggest gripe everyone has is slow play in golf nowadays and with having to enter your club used, walk to your next shot save that current shot enter your next club and so on. So when you get in and around and on the green it becomes slow play having to do all this. Select your club, hit the shot walk to the next get your phone out enter your next shot and so on. Be nice if you could edit/enter all this stuff after your round. You can edit fairways, greens hit etc but not what club you used. Pretty much everyone knows what they did in that round and where they roughly played from on the course given the app has gps. So if you’re a slow player then this is good for you if you like ready golf then maybe not.
