App Needs an Update!!
I've enjoyed using themis for bar prep and really wish they had a convenient mobile option but this app is way out of date. Access to resources is extremely limited and the format is nothing like that of the website. Themis should hire someone to update this app to include more contemt and be more user friendly!

Garbage
I could echo what many other negative reviews said, but I’ll just add my top three gripes: no dark mode and. I background play for videos. Why in the name of all that is holy haven’t these simple features been implemented? This is basic stuff for UI these days.

App freezes whenever I try to download lectures and then quits on me

This app does not work at all. If you haven’t purchased Themis yet and you think you can use this app if you get Themis. It crashes 10 seconds after opening every single time I try to use it. If you aren’t planning to study 100% on a laptop with active Wi-Fi Themis is not going to work for you
App just crashes
App is fine, however it hasn’t worked and keeps crashing without being able to load anything. Hard to rate an app that doesn’t function.
Has crashed 20+ times on me in the last 48 hours
I tried downloading the lectures for contacts. I was able to download the first videos one at a time, but every time I try to download lecture #13, the app crashes and freezes my phone for ~1 minute.

This app is truly terrible, Themis. All it is designed to do is download videos and assessments for users to take later and it can’t even do that. Instead, the app crashes my entire phone. And it takes me 10 minutes to turn off and turn back on my device before it starts working again. I’ve tried downloading the app twice now, and I have come to conclusion that this app is unusable.

App won’t load
Terrible. I login to the app and it tells me in order to launch my study program, I need to login to Themis on the web, start the course and then reload or relaunch the app. I’ve completed these instructions multiple times and the app just won’t start. I sent Themis three emails asking for assistance and nothing in three weeks. Absolute garbage.

Had to update my review from 2 stars to 1 star because it crashes that much.
Crashes constantly. Literally a worthless app, and I mean literally. It may as well not exist. At least passing the bar exam isn’t important or anything.

Underwhelming
You really can’t do much except watch lectures or read outlines but even the lectures are frustrating because as simple as having captions isn’t an option on the app but it is on the website?? If I was in public without headphones I’d try and watch videos on low volume but without captions it was difficult so it pretty much rendered the app useless. And it NEVER syncs my progress.

This app needs significant development.
App doesn’t work
Just doesn’t work at all. Asks for you to open a web browser to launch a course, but that does nothing. Not much more to say, completely broken.
Needs a ton of work
Nothing seems to be in order. Syncing doesn’t always work. Couldn’t load final review outlines. For the money we spend on these programs, you’d expect an app that at least moderately works. It’s also ugly.
Website good. App bad.
I love Themis for studying but can’t get the app to work on my phone. It really would be cool if I were able to study while in waiting rooms/on the bus/etc.

Has very limited functionality and has many bugs. Would not recommend.
Lacks Usability
This app needs serious adjustments to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. Maybe check out other highly-rated educational apps for ideas.
