About
There & Back turns the journey you already make every day into a thirty-day course of guided meditation, with one short session on your way to work and another on your way home, so the part of the day you usually just try to get through becomes the part that settles you. It's completely free, there's no account to create, and the app never asks for or keeps any of your details.
You don't need to find extra time or a quiet room, because the sessions are made for the bus, the train or the walk to the station. Put your headphones in as you set off, press There and let the voice guide you through the journey, then press Back on the way home. When each session ends, you're invited to put your phone away for the rest of the trip and simply notice where you are.
While you listen, the screen shows a slow, living landscape that asks nothing of you: a valley that brightens from dawn into morning on the way out, and a sky full of stars under the real phase of tonight's moon on the way back. If you like a little sound beneath the voice, you can add gentle rain that slowly gathers into a distant storm, or a calm ambient tone, each with its own volume.
There are no streaks to keep up, no badges to collect, and no notifications unless you decide to set a daily reminder yourself.

What's New in There & Back
1.2
October 3, 2026
The There valley now changes from dawn to morning as you listen, and the Back sky has a more lifelike moon. Rain now builds into a proper storm over time, with low cloud, distant lightning, and the sun or moon slowly disappearing behind it. Rain and calm now sit lower under the voice, and they keep playing if you pause the meditation. The quote at the top of the screen has gone, and there's a new app icon.
