This app no longer works with IOS 17.3, crashes every time it is opened. Heated insoles are now useless. Tried contacting support but link goes nowhere.
Put phone in airplane mode/shut off wifi to work
The app seems to crash with the iOS updates. I see other reviews complaining that they haven’t updated the app for 7yrs. I finally figured out how to get it to work!!!! Put your phone in airplane mode. Turn off wifi. Then launch the app and skip register. Pair with plus button too right corner. Your pin should last 4 digits of miner inside battery tray or whatever pin you originally setup. Hope this helps some people still be able to use these insoles.

App Won’t Load
Restarted phone, removed app, reinstalled and app opens and closes immediately. Won’t stay open long enough to even report issues. Waste of money buying inserts since they won’t work without app. Do not recommend unless they fix this ASAP! 19 Nov 2023.
Heated insoles
App keeps crashing. Worked great first year. Unfortunately, I believe the company needs to update app. Insoles (expensive) are now useless.

App is useless and crashes upon startup which of course renders the insoles useless. Not sure if these are still being sold but don’t buy Thermacell heated insoles

Works
These insoles work good to take the cold out of my feet when hunting in the woods. High doesn’t last long at all only 2 hrs at the most. I bought a second battery so that I can have warm feet in the morning and then at the end of the hunt.
Useless
Same as previous review. After software update, I am unable to use my heated insoles. Do something ThermaCELL...
No software update in 4 years...
So I never had an issue with these, nor the app, but I just updated my phone to 14.2 and now the app crashes upon startup. Essentially now the insoles are rendered useless. The company hasn’t released software updates in 4 years and that is just poor customer service. I guess they’re no longer supporting this app.

Heated insoles
Idea is good, but can get the app to work on my iPhone, it’s up to date. Start app and then within a second it closes. Not very happy.
Toss them in the trash
No customer support since ThermaCELL sold the business to the heat factory. One of mine quit linking, removed app, and reinstalled. Now asking for a four digit number to reactivate which is no where to be found on any of the product pieces. No one answers phone.

Killed phone in 15 minutes
I finally used the insoles that I purchased at shot show hooked it up to my phone via Bluetooth and the connection killed my phone in a matter of about 15 minutes switched it to my other phone and it did the exact same thing fix your darn app please
Terrible connectivity
Horrible connectivity, app locks up, can’t get any info on about section. My toes are froze
Bluetooth heated insoles
This app needs to be updated, the heat won’t stay on while you get messages or check the time on your phone. It only hooks to one insole a lot of the time
Warm feet when working
The app occasionally cannot find one or both insoles and has to be deleted and reinstalled. App hasn’t been updated for 2 years and customer service phone number is disconnected. When they work they are great!

1st pair was defective, 2nd works perfectly
Not sure why all these other folks say they paid $200 at the same time I paid $100 for my first pair at the end of 2017. Regardless, the first pair stopped working well almost from the beginning. I dealt with them for the season with mixed feelings and tried to contact the manufacturer for a warranty repair in the spring but the company sold to HeatFactory.
Since I bought through Amazon, they took responsibility and sent me a new pair 2 days later. They’ve worked extremely well this winter. The app connects immediately and doesn’t lose connectivity like the last pair.
Used inside a pair of only 200g light weight insulated Hunting/Hiking boots that I wear all day, while building houses outdoors in New England, and with the app set on low heat from the beginning of the day keep my feet from getting cold at all until late afternoon once the battery runs out.
HeatFactory isn’t continuing to make these soles so I’m going to get a couple sets of batteries while they’re still available to make as much use of these soles as possible before the technology is outdated in a few years. A 2nd pair of batteries would allow me an 8hr+ work day set on medium heat.

How do you work it?
I was walking home when my hands were cold, and I wanted to warm my hands up. So I downloaded this app to do exactly that but it didn’t work. I am very disappointed and angry. Work. Better.
